Italy and the Coronavirus outbreak: The Mayor of Venice consecrates Venice and the Veneto territories to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

A pity that the Mayor thought of this before the bishop.

Am I alone in feeling that our bishops are not giving a proper lead?
 
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for those infected with this serious illness, especially those most vulnerable due to age and medical conditions. May they suffer little and recover swiftly.

Also we ask you to intercede on behalf of those who care for the sick, especially those who are infected with this illness while caring for those themselves who suffer from it.

In your intercession we trust, and in the mercy of your son Our Lord we hope,
Amen

Saint Bernadette, pray for us
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us
 
Pray for them and give them time to sort this out. They are not ignoring this.

The bottom line is it is up to individual citizens to educate themselves and do what they can to not become part of the problem.
