Here is a link I found out on Yahoo News:I just saw this. It seems that maybe, just maybe, sometimes common sense prevails.
The article I read (on CNN) had something that the judge suggested that the atheist should be brought up on charges for slander.
And the next step for the plaintiff:Judge Gaetano Mautone said in his decision that prosecutors should investigate Cascioli for possible slander.
This was his plan from the beginning according to the last paragraph in an article in USA Today (see: Italian atheist sues priest over Jesus’ existence)“This is not surprising but it doesn’t mean it all ends here,” he said, adding that he’s considering taking the case to the European Court of Human Rights.
