Honey, my heart is with you in prayer. When my civil divorce was over, I took my family to our local shrine and ended up praying the rosary with the Schoenstatt Sisters, It was so beautiful and healing, I really cried for the first time. It was so healing…
Fast forward 5 months, yesterday I assisted as Eucharistic Minister at a funeral mass for a parishoner that I did not know. It was the most beautiful spiritual experience for me, from the readings about the faith of leaning on Him, to the glory of suffering (which I am recently deeply understanding), to the honor of offering the precious Blood to dear people in mourning who needed Him so much. As I was cleaning up, I realized that this was not just a funeral celebrating the life of a dear woman ( I now wish I HAD known her, after meeting the family) , this was also a spiritual closure for what I had thought was my marriage. I have no idea when my annulment will be done, but my grief is over. My spiritual Lent is done, My Easter is here.
My reason for telling you all this, is that so many told me it would hurt forever, it would never get better. I am here to tell you Have Hope. When you are ready, Jesus will bring you a spiritual closure, a spiritual healing. You know the readings from Ecl. There is a time for everything, a time to cry a time to laugh. I pray that the Lord gives you the strength to submitt to the time of tears and perseverance to reach the time to laugh again. Know that you and your children are in our prayers…my daughter started praying every night for healing for all families and children who have to adjust to life after divorce. It gets easier if you willingly submit to HIS will.
