Ive been sick for a month

Hi everyone,
I got the flu shot mid August because of the flu epidemic we had here in Australia. I have been fine all year but thought i would get it just in case… never again!
Since ive had the flu shot, ive been getting sicker and sicker.
Its come to the point ive been coughing and sneezing for a month and my chest is starting to hurt because of the constant coughing and sneezing.
I know this doesnt sound that bad, but when you have had it for a month, its a bit too much to take.
The dr seems to think im allergic to the flu shot, i will never be getting it again!
Please pray this will all pass soon, as its really getting me down and im missing out on work from it.

Don’t worry it should soon pass, as someone who got the jab in the factory where I worked around 1976 I know how you feel.

I personally was off work for around 2 weeks, and many more had to take off for longer, all complaining about the worst type of headache they ever experienced, not counting the energy drain and aches in ever limb.

We were supposed to get a booster jab in a few years, but I can tell you where they can put their booster jab, :knight2: although I don’t remember having as bad a flu since.

I pray it soon passes for you, :gopray2: if not a word with the doc maybe necessary.
 
Prayers for you.

I got the flu twice in about six weeks, nearly a week off work each time. Apparently catching it only gives you immunity for six weeks or so, I’ve been reliably informed.

It was a really bad one this year, wasn’t it!
 
From a fellow Aussie - I came down with a nasty virus (not the flu) a few weeks ago which lasted and lasted similar to the symptoms you have - but a month is a very long time. I think I was only ill for 10 days to 2 weeks and that really got be down. Have you been checked by your doctor?

dolphinlove, you are being tested for that which God is planning for you. You will know in future why this is occurring. Trust the Lord with your everything and allow Him to work His Divine plan within you, to the betterment of His Kingdom. Merciful God, may Your will be done in the life of dolphinlove to accomplish this part of Your perfect will. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
