I just have John.First Letter of John - not the Gospel of John, but the First Letter of John. We write it as “I John.” It’s toward the back of your New Testament.
There are also II John (Second Letter of John) and III John (Third Letter of John).
The first thing you notice about the Orthodox is that they have nobody who is the Successor of Peter, the chief Apostle. In Matthew 16:18-19, Jesus quoted from Isaiah 22:22, which clearly demonstrates that the Office of St. Peter will take successors until the end of Christ’s reign in Heaven, the same way that the office of key-holder lasted for as long as the throne of David lasted.

Yes, but people’s version of truth is different through opinoins.
There are not different versions of the truth - rather, some people’s opinions are closer to the truth, and others are farther away.
But when their are thousands of opinoins, its hard to find the right one that is closest.
You are right and that is why Jesus says:
Yes, people’s versions of truth are different because of their opinions. But that statement means that truth depends on the opinions of the individual (subjective) and not on objective fact. \
Not all are simply opinions. The truth has been given to us, and the Lord wants us to know the truth.

That’s why you have to look at history and Scripture - to see what the original followers of Jesus were doing - how did they interpret the commandment to confess our sins? How did they interpret the commandment to eat and drink of the Lord’s flesh and blood? What did they teach their followers to do? What was their attitude towards Mary and the Saints? Then, we can find the Church that does all these things, that has an unbroken line of succession going back to the Apostles, and we can become joined with them.

When you turn to the Scripture for proof remember that it was the Early Church Fathers who determined what was Scripture.
