Tim:
You came to my mind several times today.
And I have been praying for you.
God bless!

For me, the turning point in my (difficult) marriage came when I was deploring the defection of so many Priests and Religious from THEIR vows. I did a study of the vows of marriage (you’ld think I would have done this BEFORE saying “I do!”) and discovered that my vows were even MORE binding than the vows pronounced by most Religious. I.e., the vows of marriage are SOLEMN. Turned me totally around. When *I *turned around, gradually, so did my spouse. Thanks you all, I need to focus on the war rather then the battle’s. If I stray, my family will follow. I have to reconcile, if not for myself, then for them. My mission has always been my family, to bring them to Christ at His command and my vows. I should have expected a challenge of this nature. The enemy is relentless and this attack seemed beyond my capability, but I am reminded the first thing God taught me. It was that my family are not my property and that I am a steward. I have to get back up and fight off the demons that once held me captive for so long, that have returned with wrath and despair, and choose to serve God despite adversity. Not questioning the reason behind the allowance of such attacks. Thanks for your prayers, Tim
