James Pouillon Is Another Victim of Abortion Say Priests for Life Leaders Pavone, Morana, and King

Staten Island, NY – Leaders of Priests for Life, the largest network of clergy and lay people dedicated to ending abortion, reacted today to statements by a Sianwassee County, Michigan, prosecutor that James Pouillon was killed by a man who was upset at Mr. Pouillon’s pro-life activism.

“James Pouillon today joined the approximately 4,000 other victims who will be killed today because of abortion,” said Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life. “The taking of all innocent lives must stop. I call on the leaders of the so called ‘pro-choice’ movement to condemn this killing and to consider all of the people who lose their lives to abortion every single day.”

“Mr. Pouillon was known as the ‘sign guy’ because he had the courage to show people what abortion really is,” said Janet Morana, Priest for Life’s Executive Director. “This brutal murder will not deter pro-lifers from continuing to expose the horror of what abortion does, not just to the baby who loses his life, but also to the mother who lives with the truth of abortion the rest of her life.”

I hope people see his death as wrong and condemn it the same way they condemned George Tiller’s death. All murder is wrong, and this man shouldn’t have been killed for trying to defend unborn children.

Is it just me or is the media not reporting very well on this?

And although the article is ok, here’s CNN’s title: Police: Shooting suspect offended by anti-abortion material

Seriously?

I’m not declaring him a saint, or anything, but I do believe he heard the words “well done, good and faithful servant. Now enter into the rest My Father has prepared for you.” He died for a cause, a martyr for Life.

As for the media not reporting on this…well, I’m not surprised. The media reeks of an agenda. This is yet another example of journalists not doing their job–which is to REPORT what is actually happening, not on their own ideologies. Some in the government need to be vetted because if their corruption–but our mass media refuses to do that. So in that case, the journalists are just as corrupt as the government officials. To hear Katie Couric talk about President Obama is like listening to a teenager with a crush. Of course, she will not report on James Pouillon, because that would contradict her agenda. Now, if another abortionist is killed (which is unfortunate and sad when it does), she would be all over it.

Eternal repose, eternal repose, James. God bless you for your work, you will not be forgotten.

The Tiller murder was on page one of my paper, this was back on page 8, no big deal. Yes there is an agenda and the media coverage of conservative causes is terrible. Did you see much coverage of the march on Washington this past weekend to protest the taxes and health care reform? Once again, not much coverage and quite a downplay of the numbers that were there.

Yes Pouillon is victim! He will be on to his eternal reward!

From the same NY Times article:

A spokeswoman for the Center for Reproductive Rights, Laura MacCleery, said her group, which supports a woman’s right to abortion, was stunned by the “senseless killings.” But Ms. MacCleery said Friday’s shooting did not seem to her to be tied to the abortion debate since the suspect was also charged in the killing of the second man, Mike Fuoss, 61, the owner of a local gravel company, who did not appear to be involved in the abortion issue.

“This is not something any group on either side of this debate would ever contemplate condoning,” Ms. MacCleery said.
