From a lymphoma forum, I have come to interact with Jeanne. She is being treated for the same rare sub-type of aggressive, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that I fought (and am still treated for). She was preparing for a stem cell transplant as a cure, and her sister is a match, but Jeanne’s health has taken a turn for the worse. She was hospitalized, suffering from “some heart problems, low blood pressure, fevers, low temps, low counts, low sodium, fluid in her lungs, intestinal infection, and other things.”
Clearly, her life is at a crossroads. She is only 44 and a wife, and mother. Let us beseech the Lord, that, if it be His will, she is granted sufficient recovery so that she may survive into a transplant. Even the transplant will be risky, since her immune system will have to be killed by radiation before a new one can be transplanted.
**Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.**
