Jeanne, with my same cancer

Loving God,

We lift our prayers and intentions today for the healing of your daughter Jeanne, and we ask for your blessings, strength, and courage for her in this time of great trial and challenge. Lord, if it be your Holy and perfect will, please grant healing to this beloved mother as she does all she can to find the perseverance, endurance, and trust in your divine providence despite her concern for her family and the health conditions she is beset with. Please bless the doctors and medical staff who treat her, help the family members and friends to maintain a positive attitude, and help dear Jeanne to bear this cross with your loving assistance. Please help Jeanne to maintain her faith and to see the face of Jesus in those who minister to her during this difficult time.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

It is with great sadness that I must let you all know that my dear wife Jeannie passed away at 9:20 this morning, February 28th 2012. She fought as strong a fight as she could against this beast of an illness, but in the end she reached the point where she could battle no more.

I find some comfort in the belief that she is at peace now and she can finally rest. We, her family, love her deeply and will remember her always. I know she will continue to be present in spirit even though she is no longer with us.

The outpouring of support and sympathy from all those who love and care about her has been truly amazing. Please know that she acknowledged and appreciated this very much, even if you did not have the opportunity to hear from her directly.

Oh Jim I am so sorry. I am so very sorry for her husband and family. May God bless each of them and comfort them in their deep sorrow.

Lord, we also ask for comfort and strength for the family members who miss and mourn for Jeanne at this time.
