No, he was praying to the Father. The fact that there is one God does not diminish the fact that God is three distinct Persons by virtue of their relationship to each other. He is not the Father who is the Son and he is not the Son who is the Father. They are distinct in relationship and one in Being or substance. When Jesus prayed to the Father was Jesus praying to Himself?
When you leave out the distinct Persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit it does not make sense. There is no different God. There is only one God.Jesus is God, He was praying to God but not the same God that the God is that He was praying to but they are both fully God, not two gods.
