It has now been 12 years since Ariel Sharon withdrew all Israeli settlers and military personnel from the Gaza Strip. In twelve years of self-government, what have Hamas and the other Palestinian politicians achieved? Where is the full employment, prosperity, public health programs and all the rest that they could be doing with the generous funding received from the European Union and other aid donors?
