[5:52] **O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. And whoso among you takes them for friends is indeed one of them. Verily, Allah guides not the unjust people. **
Great verse for a so-called peaceful religion.
[5:56] Your friend is only** Allah **and His Messenger and the believers who observe Prayer and pay the Zakat and worship ** God ** alone.
So which one is it? Allah or God?

In which ways is it different? Just curious
Hi. Peace be with you.

For starter, you can read the Bible in Mathew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23 and John 19; then refer to corresponding teaching from the Quran and you will notice the difference. There are more but in the chapters that I’ve given you it will not be hard for you to figure out what I was trying to say.

God bless you.

Sorry I don’t own a bible because everything I need to know is in Qur’an. I thought there was something you had off the top of your head. Is it true that you guys believe that Jesus(peace be upon him) was born of Mary(peace be upon her) and another fella named Joesph?

welcome to the forum. You can google the Bible and find it online if you want to discuss with Christians. We do not need the Quran in anything yet we do read the Quran to discuss islam.

Is it true that mohammet fornicated with a dead non-muslim woman to ensure she would go to muslim paradise?

Do you really want to play this game, Muslimah727? I have access to many foul and disgusting hadiths describing the despicable life of your mohammet.

The link is in Arabic, if you need help with the translation, there is an Islamic scholar (now Christian) who will be happy to assist.

You may not own a Bible but you can easily google the chapters I gave you. With such lacking in the knowledge of the Bible it will be an uphill labor for you to discuss many of the issues here with Catholics.

The chapters I gave you are about the death of Jesus which is found in all the four gospels. All Muslims that I know do not believe that Jesus died on the cross because the Quran says so. I hope that helps.

I am beginning to wonder now … but I really hope you are a sincere poster … We do have to make a bit of our own homework, don’t we? 🙂

Hi

Welcome here. For a Catholic Bible you may , if you so like, access:

Jesus could assert himself for his claims and reasons; he needed no Paul/s, in my opinion; I love Jesus for his wisdom. Jesus feared nobody except GodAllahYHWH whose humble servant Jesus was, in my opinion.

Thanks

**The Holy Quran : Chapter 5: Al-Ma’idah

[5:21] And remember when Moses said to his people, ‘O my people, call to mind Allah’s favour upon you when He appointed Prophets among you and made you kings, and gave you what He gave not to any other among the peoples.
This part of the Quran is erroneous if not outright lie.

Moses could not have said those words. Why? Moses led the Israelites in their journey in the desert. And at that time of Moses, the Lord God has not appointed yet a king among the Israelites. They were in the desert.

Hi

Well, Jesus was a King, in my opinion. Don’t you believe that Jesus was a King? I think you must believe it if you are a Catholic my friend.

Hi

The four Gospels in the beginning of the NTBible were written for providing information of the event of Crucifxion only, in my opinion. To understand the discussions in these forums , you need only 3 to 4 last chapters of each of these four Gospels to start with. Later you may read, if you like the whole of them.

Jesus could assert himself for his claims and reasons; he needed no Paul/s, in my opinion; **I love Jesus **for his wisdom. Jesus feared nobody except GodAllahYHWH whose humble servant Jesus was, in my opinion.

You are out of order my friend. You want to tell me that when Moses said those words as your Quran wants to portray, Moses was referring to the appointment made by God to Jesus as king while the Israelites were in the desert? No way Paarsurrey! That is completely twisting history.

That is, if you were Him, you would do that. Unfortunately for you, paarsurrey, you were not Him. So, stop dreaming to be He.

Hi

Kindly see the bounties bestowed on Israel mentioned:

Exodus 1: 7-14

7 The children of Israel increased, and sprung up into multitudes, and growing exceedingly strong they filled the land. 8 In the mean time there arose a new king over Egypt, that knew not Joseph: 9 And he said to his people: Behold the people of the children of Israel are numerous and stronger than we. 10 Come, let us wisely oppress them, lest they multiply: and if any war shall rise against us, join with our enemies, and having overcome us, depart out of the land.

11 Therefore he set over them masters of the works, to afflict them with burdens, and they built for Pharao cities of tabernacles, Phithom and Ramesses. 12 But the more they oppressed them, the more they were multiplied, and increased: 13 And the Egyptians hated the children of Israel, and afflicted them and mocked them: 14 And they made their life bitter with hard works in clay, and brick, and with all manner of service, wherewith they were overcharged in the works of the earth.

I think this would help.

You are like boxing the moon, my friend. For the king mentioned in Exodus as quoted by you above is not an Israelite. The King there was an Egyptian, for so he was king of Egypt.

But your Quran wants to tell us that the king appointed by God was one among the people led by Moses in the desert while they were in the desert or earlier that time. It was one of them. Not an Egyptian king.

Thank you for telling me that Joseph was an Egyptian; not an Israelite.

May God Allah YHWH bless you!

You just put a word into my mouth paarsurrey! I never said that Joseph was an Egyptian. Besides, Joseph never became king of Egypt.

My gosh! Is that the way Muslims were taught by the Koran? To tell a lie?

Peace!

I love Jesus and Mary as mentioned in Quran.

Too bad they are not the real ones as mentioned in the Bible

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem ,
Hello Chrisse. To my knowledge Muhammad(saw) never fornicated let alone with a “dead non muslim”
I also want to give you some advice in terms in dealing with hadiths. Just because a hadith is written in arabic does not mean it’s authentic. Hadiths are similar to that of the NT in that the companions of our beloved prophet(saw) expressed the saying and actions of the prophet(saw). The prophet(saw) warned us about fornicated hadiths and said if it goes against Qur’an then it is not from him. When trying to find information about islam, the internet is not the best resource as anyone can publish anything through these means. I hope that helps.

I think we are getting somewhere in that both religions believe that Jesus(as) does not have a biological.
