Jesus a Black Man?

Well I seriously doubt that he was blond hair blue eyed and fair skinned! I dare say he was probably alot darker than most of us have grown up believing. Does the idea of Jesus being black really bother anyone here? If so, why?

Because he wasn’t black.

If people started saying that Martin Luther King Jr. was white it would bother me. He wasn’t white.

Read this, i myself, being a black man, never really believed in the possiblity of jesus being black, i thought that he was almost certainly olive skinned, middle eastern. But after reading this, every point given makes such perfect sense and there are historical and biblical facts to boot, i actually believe that this is not just possible, but highly likely. I know that the message is more important than the package its delivered in, but if this is true it is astounding to know how the church and basically the whole continent of Europe concealed this fact and corrupted almost the entire world (who believe in jesus) by creating a false image of such an important and influencial figure.

well that website was the best example of RASCIM that i have seen in a long time…do you as a black man actually read that garbage?
 
please explain to me how it is racist. Regardless of the fact that he said jesus looked like “me”. this man has clearly compiled strong facts that support his idea.

stick to the article he wrote. I havnt thoroughly explored his website and yes some of those quotes do indicate that the person maybe be some what intolerant of whites, but none of that has anything to do with the biblical, historical, and archaeological evidence he provided to support his theory of the black jesus.

if what I quoted is any indication of the other garbage he posts than no I will not be reading his article on Jesus…
and if you missed it he does have issues with Mary’s virginity and many other things…so if he can not even get that right why read the rest of his garbage…and his whole site is INTOLERANT of whites.…geesh you really did not persue this site any further than this one article did you?

Then before you go using this guy as an authorite on the race of Jesus may I suggest you find out what this guys agenda is…
 
regardless of all of that the facts dont lie. He had proof in scripture architecture, art, history. You are straying from the basic point that he has come up with and thoroughly supported. He may be a racist but the evidence he presents does not display or harbour this, he simply presents the facts, and follows up on them. You can’t deny the fact that the majority of the things he says are, unless you disagree with written history, and the bible.

I do disagree with his interperation of the facts…if you take the time to read his site and other garbage articles…he has real issues interperting truth from fiction.
but I guess you are hung up on this one article and will not pursue the rest of his site to see what his true agenda is…:eek:
