How can an immaculate conception be considered ānormalā? And how can giving birth to a child without human fertilization be considered ānaturalā?Hi
We Muslim believe that Jesus was born of a Virgin Mary, only on witnessing of Allah in Quran and **Allah is sufficient for witnessing;**that is about the conception only, otherwise Mary gave birth to child quite naturally. It was a normal delivery though.
Thanks

Thatās the least of my concern. There are thousands of cases where pregnant women have delivered their babies without any aid of any kind. What i am concerned about is how you defined the immaculate conception as being ānormalā as if implying she had been impregnated by someone.Hi
Mary delivered the Child herself without the least aid of a midwife or a physician or any other human being; that is a natural delivery, in my opinion. It had no abnormality;you would agree.
Thanks

Actually, that word (in Hebrew, at least) didnāt mean just ANY young woman, but āyoung woman of royal birthā ā¦in this case, of the line of David.I love the argument that says that the word can also mean āyoung womanā or "maiden.ā
Some prophacy that would be
A woman shall bear a childā¦no kidding!

Sometimes i really need to re-check what i type. I apologize for the confusion. What i meant is how you defined the miraculous conception of Jesus as if Mary had been impregnated by someone or something other than the Holy Spirit.Hi
I have looked up in the Wiktionary for the word āimmaculate conceptionā; it defines it :
The doctrine, in the Roman Catholic Church, that the Virgin Mary was conceived free from original sin.
In Islam we believe that every child conceived under a legal marriage called nikah is free from any sin. There is no concept of any original sin in Islam. I think Judaism alos have no concept of any original sin.
This also seems to be an invention of Paul, in my opinion.
I have already mentioned that Virgin Mary conceived the child, it is mentioned in Quran by Allah, and for us it is a sufficient witnessing; needing no other witnessing. I donāt think there could be no third party witnessing for conception.
Thanks
