I pray your life is blessed by it.
My life has been blessed by the Life Death & Ressurection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!!

Are you of the opinion us christians need conversion to christianity???

Wow what a thought.

It amazes me that a thread on Catholic Answers about Mary will draw a hundred views in a minute, but one about the death of the Lord is passed over.

Not your amazement, which would be impossible to quantify, but the 100 views in a minute.

Well, as you may already know from being a regular on here, sometimes a new
thread one starts can take alot longer then 1-4 hours for some replies.to start rollin’
in.
If I did not have this very old lap top, and dial up, I would try to view the video you
posted. It probably is a interesting link you posted. :o

Well obviously we care more about worshipping our Goddess, the Queen of Heaven from the Old Testament, Mary. I’m actually about to make and offer some cakes to her.

Catholics contemplate the life, death and resurrection of Christ all the time. It is the focus of our weekly/daily Mass as well.

David. Give us your interpretation of these verse And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit.
23
16 Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.” AND MAY BE YOU WILL SEE WHY WE WILL NOT FLOCK TO YOUR POST…

Correct. Every time we see another post by DD, especially ones that I’ve seen on CARM, we all just go

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!! Thank you for posting that, DD. That was GREAT!! That was hiLARious!!! The elocution, the exocution, the way it was edited, the theology. I was going to watch RiffTrax "Best of"s on youtube, but, this is just as funny. Thank you.

You guys, PLEASE watch this if you want to have a laugh. NO, seriously, you will thank DD. It’s like a charicature of a evangelical minister. It’s like a farce of a charicature of an evangelical minister. This is something a satirist would preform and be loved because it’s making fun of this very thing.

Opp! Spoke too soon. The last 15 seconds or so he has a serious message…but, other than that, hiLARious! Everything just contributes perfectly.

Yes for many Catholics it is Mary first Jesus second, sadly.
They will say they go to Mary so she will bring them/show them to Jesus yet they never go to Jesus but stay with Mary.

Yes, we know Christ died. And certainly no Christian would dream of diminishing the tremendous import of that event. But listen and understand what the greatest Father and Doctor of the Church, St. Augustine, says:
By his passion the Lord passed over from death to life and opened a way for us who believe in his resurrection, that we too may pass over from death to life. It is no great thing to believe that Christ died: pagans and Jews and all bad people believe that. All of them are sure that he died. The faith of Christians is in Christ’s resurrection. This is what matters to us, that we believe he rose from the dead.

Try denying the death of the Lord and there shall be a stampede of curious (and shocked) viewers and there shall be hundreds of “determined” responses in a few minutes.

Spoken like a true outsider! You have no idea what you are talking about, only what people have told you to think.

Sounds like tradition as apposed to scripture…sorry thats a different thread!

For many protestants, it’s Bible first, Jesus second.

That’s an interesting take, Religio.

I have often thought that, many protestants worship the bible and not God. Then they use their god, the bible, to call me an idol worshiper.
