I guess I’m that. Not sure
I don’t recall having ever made that choice. I don’t understand why I need to therefore pay for crime.God’s heart breaks just as much as ours do. But He is giving us what humanity chose, to know good and evil.
You’re saying God is pure love, but at the same time seemingly imply he needs soul-shattering evil in the world to bring about loveBut out of horrendous evil comes unbelievable love, unexplainable forgiveness
Your choice my friend. Then it’s not in my plan to believe in God right now.
Nobody’s problem but your own. Then it’s not in my plan to believe in God right now.
He doesn’t, but the point is that He can still bring good from our sins. Why does he need to allow children to be gassed in order to bring something good?
You know good, you know evil. It’s your nature, given by the common ancestors of all humanity.I don’t recall having ever made that choice. I don’t understand why I need to therefore pay for crime.
Absolutely not. He just needs there to be an option not to love, which humans all too often take. You’re saying God is pure love, but at the same time seemingly imply he needs soul-shattering evil in the world to bring about love
He told us no. That’s enough for any adult to be “educated,” wouldn’t you agree? And all powerful Yahweh couldn’t have educated us as any normal parent would do rather than kick us out for a crime that, frankly, could not be more harmless?
It wasn’t the action itself, but sinning in a sinless place that got humans kicked from Eden.Parents have forgiven their kids for murder in the past, for crying out loud. And he kicked us out for eating a fruit?
We’re created with free will. We can’t choose not to eat the fruit if we can’t eat it.And I realize the crime is trying to be like God. Why did he put a tree whose apples make us like God right in front of their noses?
Aren’t you a treat. A very Christian attitude.Nobody’s problem but your own.
That’s very comforting for the victims of rape and countless other atrocities. He can still bring good from our sins.
So… making every single human generation pay for the “crime” of Adam and Eve passes for justice in your book? They ate a fruit, therefore some children die in Auschwitz, others are born blind and deaf. You know good, you know evil. It’s your nature, given by the common ancestors of all humanity.
Yeah, but that doesn’t explain earthquakes, diseases and volcanoes though…He just needs there to be an option not to love, which humans all too often take.
People have forgiven murders and betrayals of the worst kind in the past. How long does God hold a grudge? He’s supposed to be a role model isn’t he?That’s enough for any adult to be “educated,” wouldn’t you agree?
If he wanted to keep the place sinless, why did he create sinful beings?sinning in a sinless place that got humans kicked from Eden.
In other words, he tempted us? How is that action in any possible way good?We can’t choose not to eat the fruit if we can’t eat it.
No he won’tHe will still be believing in you.
You are obviously not interested in learning. In other words, he tempted us? How is that action in any possible way good?
