It seems pointless to pray in a language you don’t speak or understand, because prayer comes from our hearts and souls to worship the Lord and to beg Him for His mercy.
The Jesus Prayer itself is one to have a deep personal reflection towards yourself, acknowledging that you are a sinner and that you have a fallen nature. To implore the Lord of His mercy, we must do it full heartedly, not as empty words to memorize and repeat (as I did in my childhood).
Additionally, the Jesus Prayer is rooted in Coptic and Byzantine Christianity, therefore there is no official translation in Aramaic or Syriac. I do however have a personal translation in Syriac that I often pray when my mind feels like thinking in that language instead of Arabic or English:
