i don’t agree with:
**You are making yourself a god! You do realize that don’t you? You are the servant ~ He is God. You must agree or die! It is that simple! **
confession only being valid with a priest
**
Would you rather have confession with no one? Jesus Himself spiritually comes when two or more are gathered in his name doesn’t he? Would you like to stand up in front of the entire church and confessing them, Some Protestants do that!
For sins committed after baptism, we have a different sacrament called penance, confession, and reconciliation, each word emphasizing one of its aspects. During his life, Christ forgave sins, as in the case of the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1–11) and the woman who anointed his feet (Luke 7:48). He told us, “the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins” (Matt. 9:6), which is why the Gospel writer himself explains that God “had given such authority to men” (Matt. 9:8).
Christ gave this power to other men in the Church, which is the continuation of his presence throughout time (Matt. 28:20), so they could offer forgiveness to future generations. He gave his power to the apostles, and it was a power that could be passed on to their successors and agents.
God had sent Jesus to forgive sins, but after his resurrection Jesus told the apostles, “‘As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained’” (John 20:21–23). (This is one of only two times we are told that God breathed on man, the other being in Genesis 2:7, when he made man a living soul. It emphasizes how important the establishment of the sacrament of penance is. **
ban of contraception with married couples
** Christians have always condemned contraceptive sex. Both forms mentioned in the Bible, coitus interruptus and sterilization, are condemned without exception (Gen. 38:9–10, Deut. 23:1).The purpose of sexual intercourse in natural law is procreation; contraceptive sex, which deliberately blocks that purpose, is a violation of natural law. Every church in Christendom condemned contraception until 1930, when, at its decennial Lambeth Conference, Anglicanism gave permission for the use of contraception in a few cases. Soon all Protestant denominations had adopted the secularist position on contraception. Today not one stands with the Catholic Church to maintain the ancient Christian faith on this issue. That is proof of the devil at work! **
going to hell for having one unconfessed mortal sin
**I don’t agree about going to jail for being drunk. But, It is the law. You don’t agree with the law of God? OK! Tell Him to change that law of His for you!

**
that the pope can make laws that aren’t necessarily biblically supported
He can’t and he wouldn’t! That is a Protestant lie that you have already learnt. Way to go my foolish friend!
don’t get me wrong I understand morals and I love God and Jesus,
**Don’t get me wrong your eternal soul is in real danger! **
I just feel that the Catholic church is too strict on restrictions for getting into heaven.
**So you want to shop around like these things are negotiable? You don’t want to follow God’s laws supported by scriptures but you are worried about the pope making more?

**
I’m scared everyday that i won’t inherit the kingdom
** Good! That just may save your soul! It is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. “Fear of the Lord” My advise PRAY!
Prayer is always the answer you have to supply the question. And you should keep away from Protestants until your Faith is stronger. Not that they are evil but they are against Jesus’ real church, the devil has them blinded to the truth. They know lies and are telling you them. Your Faith is too weak to defend yourself against Satan!
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” --1 Peter 5:8
Every Christian has an enemy. Although unseen by the natural eye, this adversary is not imaginary nor a mythological character. Satan, the Devil, is a real person… a spirit being, with intelligence, tangible characteristics, and whose incessant goal and ambition is to “steal, kill, and destroy” – John 10:10.**
** “Ignorance of the Catechism is ignorance of Christ, just like the Bible…Theologians who teach that angels, the devil, and hell, don’t exist have lost their faith.” Fr John Corapi
“Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this Faith is to see what you believe” – Saint Augustine
Lets pray for each other that we may become worthly of the promises of Christ!
God Bless
