Are there not three main racial groups? Negroid, Caucasoid, and Mongoloid (Asiatic)? No matter their skin tone, Semites (Jews, Arabs, etc.) are caucasoid, I think. Maybe sociologists/anthropologists have changed the categories.
Assuming they are pure, sure. But given that Israel is at the intersection of Europe, Asia and Africa, most of the people there are mixed to some degree.

I’m wondering though where I fit in those three. I’m definitely not Asian in the sense that I look Chinese/Japanese/Korean. I’m not Caucasian although the Spanish influence is clear in my complexion and my bigger and taller than average built for my ethnicity. And I’m definitely not Negroid. 🤷

Remember too that the Jews have been all around because of their exiles. They would have returned from Babylon not too long ago at the time of Jesus’ birth and they definitely would have intermarried to some extent there even though Jewish laws would have forbidden such. This is also the time they picked up Aramaic as the language over Hebrew.

I would guess that it is hard to find any country with a 100% pure race any more. There are some I’m sure but that number decreases every year.

Well those are the images we’re comfortable with but no He couldn’t have been…
HE could easily have been. I have personally known Irarnians and Arab Egyptians whose skin was as white as an Anglo-North American’s. Even freckles and light-coored eyes.

He was probably bronzed from a life lived under the Israeli sun; no hats or sunscreens in the AD30s.

It doesn’t matter because we won’t see HIS natural complexion. Read Rev. 1 for his “complexion” in HIS pneumatikon soma.

ICXC NIKA.

There have been European people in those areas for centuries.
Yes but Jesus was straight forward Middle Eastern from the line of Abraham. And weren’t Jews forbidden to marry women of Idolatrous nations or something like that? 🤷 But anyway, history would say Jesus was tan.

We’re all arguing over whether Jesus was white or black, but I’m going to laugh my behind off when well all go to Heaven and Jesus says “buenos dias”

And Israel wasn’t such a place even then. As a crossroads for 3 continents, they pretty much saw everybody.

Not because Jews were forbidden to intermarry doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I mean, there are many things Catholics today are forbidden to do but some do it anyway. Thats just the way it is.

Yes, a very common stopping place for weary travellers and some travellers would have decided they liked it and would have chosen to stay. Adding a new flavour of DNA to the pool.

Yes, it was forbidden, but it happened…a lot.

And remember, in the Holy One’s lineage there is counted the harlot Rahab of Jericho and Ruth, who was a Moabitess (I think).
