Adding sense to Christianity

Hi

Thank you for your question. First the Verses:

[4:167] But Allah bears witness by means of the revelation which He has sent down to thee, that He has sent it down full of His knowledge, and the angels also bear witness; and sufficient is Allah as a Witness.
[4:168] Those who disbelieve and hinder others from the way of Allah, have certainly strayed far away.
[4:169] Surely, those who have disbelieved and have acted unjustly, Allah will not forgive them, nor will He show them any way.
[4:170] Except the way of Hell, wherein they shall abide for a long, long period. And that is easy for Allah.
[4:171] O mankind! the Messenger has indeed come to you with truth from your Lord; believe therefore, it will be better for you. But if you disbelieve, verily, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and in the earth. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.
[4:172] O People of the Book! exceed not the limits in your religion, and say not of Allah anything but the truth. Verily, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, and a fulfilment of His word which He has sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not, ‘They are three.’ Desist, it will be better for you. Verily, Allah is the only One God. Holy is He, far above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. And sufficient is Allah as a guardian.
[4:173] Surely, the Messiah disdains not to be a servant of Allah, nor do the angels who are near to Him, and whoso disdains to worship Him and is proud, He will gather them all to Himself.
[4:174] Then as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their rewards in full and will give them more out of His grace; but as for those who disdain and are proud, He will punish them with a painful punishment. And they shall find for themselves beside Allah no friend, nor helper.
[4:175] O ye people, manifest proof has indeed come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear Light.
[4:176] Then, as for those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him, He will surely admit them to His mercy and grace and will guide them along a straight path leading to Himself.

One should read the verses first; then one should come up with what is the difficulty in understanding them.

One should not mix up with the thoughts in one’s mind; as then one cannot understand what is written there. One should remain focussed with the text.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddah and Krishn

Thanks

I know you are an ardent Muslim. But, why do you intentionally post this inflammatory opinion? I thought more of you than this. You might be breaking forum rules by insulting Catholicism and by attempting to lure weak Catholics away to Islam. In future, please phrase you points as a belief, rather than established fact. Thank you.

Can we ask the moderators in CAF to change the title of this thread to Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, and a fulfilment of His word according to Islamic belief?

The title is inflaming and the OP has no respect for the Catholics in this forum for stating it as if it is a fact. I am surprise that this OP is so insensitive to the feeling of Catholics here considering that he is a peaceful Muslim.

The reason Jesus is called Kalimathullah (literally, Word of God) is because Muslims believe Allah created Jesus by a single word: Be. Hence, Jesus is the Word (Be) of God. Some Muslims also believe Jesus is the Koran personified. Which makes no sense to me.

If Jesus was the Scriptures personfied (like what Christians believe), than it would make sense, because Jesus came to fulfill the Scriptures in Himself.

I’m reading Belloc’s **Great Heresies **at the moment. Great Chapter on Islam. Well worth reading.

So to whom should I listen, Jesus and his followers or to a man 600 years later who knew so little of the man and his life?

**** W * R * O * N * G * !!!***

Jesus was and is God Made Flesh.

Isa akbar!

**Isa akbar!

ISA AKBAR!

I bear witness there is NO GOD but Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and Jesus is God Incarnate risen from the dead.**
