Jesus' status in Islam and Judaism

Jesus was sent to the Jews. He said so himself, according to your Bible. He said he was sent to the lost sheep of the children of Israel, or something to that effect. And he said that he did not come to abolish the law.

and He said He came to gentiles as well…taught non-Jews as well, and sent apostles to gentiles.

so, does your book say that if you are a gentile, you must become a Jew first to follow Jesus?

go to the Gentiles. Matthew 10:5. that was their first mission…who do you think they should go preach to? people who awaited Him or gentiles?

Then you do not understand what Islam is.

Islam is the religion of all the Prophets sent by God. All of them.

Islam was the religion of Abraham. Abraham was before Muhammad and yet I say that Abraham was a Muslim!

Have you started reading the Qur’an like you told me you would?

Jesus WAS a Muslim, in every sense of the word. And so were his disciples!

I’m glad to hear you are reading it again. It always makes me feel good to read Qur’an.

The Qur’an is the proof for what I say. If I ask you for proof to the contrary, what will you conjur? And what if I say you can’t use the Bible?

I will use the words of God Almighty who witnessed it–because neither you nor I were there with video equipment, but God Almighty sees all and hears all.

Moreover, I explained the meaning of the words “Islam” and “muslims.”

Was he lying? to add to what i already wrote and which further explains, Jesus was adressing a non-believer and provoked her by saying He is only come to the lost of Israel, and because of her answer said " great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish"

In other words, only Jews awaited Him, but everyone who has faith in Him is more than welcome, that is why He sent disciples to gentiles.

But I’m not playing a game with that picture. It shows a very stark contrast between Israelis and Palestinians. It represents only the militant side of Israel, and the victim side of Palestine. Those girls are trying to go to school, and they are faced with a roadblock and soldiers pointing a gun at them.

It is a contrast.

But where I live, propaganda is one-sided, and it is opposite to that photograph. People only hear about a terrorist rocket and Israeli victims. That is incomplete. This is a real photograph of a scene that unfortunately is not even rare for Palestinian children. I think the world needs to see that. Not because it’s the only perspective, but because it is so frequently ignored.

The Bible did not come 600 years before Muhammad. The Bible is a collection of books, and you don’t know when they came, or where they came from. You have two pieces–Old Testament and New Testament, which disagree. Trust me, if its contradictions that bother you, it is the Bible that will bury you.

Frankly, it’s easy to believe in a prophet. That is much easier to believe in than a God who walks on earth, who must eat and go to the bathroom like an ordinary human, and yet have to believe he is god? But there is proof that Muhammad is a prophet, and you can read it–it’s the Qur’an.

You know as well as I do that there is no such thing as capital letters in Arabic. Muslim = muslim. Abraham was a Muslim, Moses was a Muslim, Jesus was a Muslim. They followed the same deen

(you know the word deen?) which is Islam, with different laws (Shari’ah.) you know as well that the deen Islam does not exist in the Bible…the verb to submit does…so my point stands…Moses did not follow the teaching of Muhammad which oppose his teachings…the same apply to many others…besides, the Quran opposes previous teachings so in order to talk about it on the same level, it must be in God’s Word, and it is not…after the Messanic Covenant, there are no Islamic sharias so Muhammad is not giving different laws, but falsifyin previous ones as non-existent.
