Yes! Are Catholics on this message board seriously so confused about this issue as to refuse to stand up for the stated principles of their own faith? Yeeesh, the next Pope will have his hands full!
It is always and forever wrong to reject the divinity of Christ and the worship and glorification of the one Holy Trinity. It doesn’t matter if you call it Islam, or Judaism, or “Oneness Pentacostalism” or whatever you call it. All of these things are wrong, not as a judgment of their believers, but because they teach their followers to deny God. “No one comes to the Father except through Me” means exactly that.
It’s wrong to be anything other than a Christian. Commence the gnashing of teeth and accusations of “uncharitableness”, if you must; it’s the truth and people ought not shy from it. You’re not wrong
as a person if you are not Christian (i.e., you’re not automatically “bound for hell” or whatever some denominations might teach; remember the righteous thief who was crucified beside Christ…something tells me he never took catechism classes), but you’re certainly in the wrong faith. All that which is not planted by the Father will be uprooted, and it is solid Christian doctrine going back to the beginning of our faith that every knee shall bow before Christ the Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). It’s just a question of whether you want to do it now or later. I would suggest that we
all begin now.
