John McCain is disingenuous and using this for political expediency for Republicans who are critical of Barack Obama.
When he voted to authorize Bush to go into Iraq, Middle East experts warned that this would happen.
This didn’t happen 6 months ago, but 11 years ago when John McCain and the other members of congress, voted to give Bush authority to use full military force against Iraq as he saw fit.
Those of use who opposed it back then, were treated as traitors.

Congress was aware of the situation in January with these insurgents thus McCains words. This has been brewing for 6-mths. My point is, if your going to make a strategic move, why wait till now? They didn’t expect the quick troop movement, but that’s neither here nor there, its a short sight. And for sure the Republicans are known to ride the broom on the Democrats, not very cordial but its the truth. Bush and Obama spoke foolishly about Iraq. There’s not any doubt in my mind we should have never been in Iraq. This is a lesson we simply do not seem to learn about building democracies. But this is what is spoon feed to Americans daily with equal rights, women’s rights, freedom of religion etc. Such is the case here with Iraq and the Sunnis and Shiites. The cites taken were predominately Sunni. Baghdad is predominately Shiite. So there was no democracy coming which is evident by how the country was governed. This is full scale civil war, I mean lets call it what it is.
In any case we have no business here. Iraq has or had 400-thousand troops, 16-billion worth of arms we supplied, aside from our help and 4-thousand of us were lost there. The claim is Iraq controlled by Isis brings the possibility of terrorist attacks on US soil more likely and the reality of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria looms closer. Isis has 2500 troops and gaining as they go town to town.
If Iran comes in as I linked. they will dominate and control both Syria and Iraq in all likely hood. Its hindsight with Syria and the US and its hindsight here. Who gets a piece of the fault through the past decade is known, but only one individual is calling the shots as we see. And my problem is not that he was wrong about Iraq, but hes getting ready to be wrong again.
There’s always gonna be bad guys out here, you know this. The issue is why do we have to be the umpire at every event. Of course Iraq is begging the US, thats how the game is played, that how we are played. When did it become our responsibility to be the world police, send money, send arms, and the young are sacrificed as always.
We have an obligation to us, to our home. Like the border where Obama has done what, invited the children of Central America here?
