Hi everyone,
I usually just lurk here in Family Life and Parenting (I don’t have any kids…but love reading about all of yours
), but I have a dilemma and am wondering if any of you who live in bigger cities can help me.
I am currently working a job that I really enjoy but living in a place that I HATE. I’m far from family/friends, I’m alone and not dealing with that well, when I’m AT work I do well, but once I get home…not so much. I was offered a position that would allow me to move back to “home” and commute. The pay difference is significantly higher (that’s why I could commute), but I will be commuting a total of 160 miles a day. Does anyone do this? Is it worth it in the long run? If I take this job I have to sign a contract to stay for 3 years
. So…any suggestions? Advice?
Oh! I’m in the health field…physical therapy to be exact…going from hospital to nursing home/outpatient (which is super exciting!)
Thanks everyone!
