I was also amazed by the deflective reactions of a majority of the reporters in the Q&A session of that press conference. They seemed unwilling to want to believe the facts that were being presented to them and were quick to attack the messengers.

The other interesting thing is that a cursory review of the top Google headlines over the past few days finds very little mention of this investigation and when it is mentioned it is nowhere near a top headline for more than a few minutes.

by no means is my attention taken off of the important issues. i don’t spend days and nights worrying about obama’s unsolved mysteries. my concerns are when will our country come out of this economic recession and who will be the person that will help get things turned around. however, i also don’t feel obama deserves a free pass and if something is rotten in denmark, as a united states citizen and a voter, i deserve to know the truth and so does every other citizen.

My ‘diversion’ is an ode to a series I fell in love with…Methinks some people got more engrossed in the plot than me and now they can’t distinguish that from real life. 🙂

I’m not aware that foreign students qualify for grants or loans…you know what, if he participated in fraud then let him be prosecuted for it or let the personal attacks stop. If you have verified information to produce, do it otherwise state your opinion with your vote.

These shifting allegations suggest that the motivation is not to find the truth but to ‘create’ it.

As a sixty five year old retiree I do not have the resources to investigate him. However, I am a voter and have never missed an election in my lifetime, so I will continue to state my objections and suspicions and doubts whenever and whereever I choose to do so. And I will wait until someone like Joe Arpaio finds, and reports what he has to say, and I will pray that my government finally decides to take action on the matter, which they have sadly refused to do.

You sound like an apologist for Obama. Do you have further comments on his attack on our Church? If so I would love to hear them.

Remarking on the obsessive and baseless questioning of a person’s identity equates to being an apologist for them? Have you ever questioned how and where these queries which you don’t have the resources to investigate arose to begin with? I know I do; whenever I get an email about Obama I check it out on snopes.com and so far have found them all to be blatant lies forwarded from Christian to Christian. Yet nobody seems to ask of the instigators of such campaigns: Are they Christians?

I would object to such behavior if it were directed at Joe the Plumber. My point here is that it wouldn’t be.

For those new to this world, Federal Investigations are a political tool more often than not, especially when it jumps jurisdictional boundries and is related to polically hot issues. This investigation is over arresting illegal immigrants. Therefore, the president pushes this to garner Latino votes. This constitutes no “plank”.

Likewise, this Arpaio investigation is transparently political and equally ridiculous.

By his own reckoning, Arpaio hasn’t produced “facts.”

Once again, the folks who believe that stuff are relining their tin hats with more aluminum foil and seeing how closely Obama can be tied to Area 52 and the Bermuda Triangle and the crash of that airliner over Long Island and to the fraud over the “moon landing,” which was staged in Arizona. Lots of red meat for those folks. :rotfl:

I regret that often Christians do not bring their Christianity into their political lives. I do not know anything about this issue and never can. Therefore, it is incumbant on me to believe that one is being honest about that which I do not know. The reason for this is that I would not want people to accuse me of lying and assume falsehood on my part in a vacuum of evidence. Who in their right mind would want people to doubt their words without reason and assume they are dishonest without cause? Therefore, when we turn to the president and treat him in a manner other than we know we would wish to be treated, we are shattering the Golden Rule in a million pieces, proving false our desire to be like Jesus.

What I think is happening is that we see an easy out to stop the evil political actions of the current president and we seek an easy way to get rid of them. We forget that we can not fight evil with evil any more than one can fight fire with fire. We must instead fight fire with water, and evil with integrity, humility and holiness.
 
Obama is to the Oval Office what Mohammad Atta was to the cockpit of the Boeing 767.

I think he probably will win and that means two or three more Supreme Court judges who will support socialist subversion of the constitution, unless Catholic voters who supported him last time swing their votes over recent issues that they should have seen coming. Sorry… I had to say it because you know it’s true. 🤷

You may be right, but the accusation that the Supreme Court is supporting “socialist subversion” of the Constitution is over the top. The Supremes are anything but Socialists.

and i bet you believe our government i.e. the george bush administration was behind 9/11.

arpaio has shown facts as to the possibility that documents presented to the american public might have been tampered with.

i don’t think i will be holding my breath as far as my government taking any action on any of these matters. unfortunately, there don’t seem to be enough people that care and it seems obama has gotten a free pass since before he became our president. the powers that be put him on a quick road to the White House and they have a lot more money than sheriff joe or anyone else wanting to investigate obama’s unsolved mysteries.
