John Hagee= Extreme Anti- Catholic

Hi Boxerdog,

Yes, I agree with your post about Kenneth Hagee. He and other evangelical so called christians preaching the Word on televison are raking in so much money it’s sinful. Just like Jimmy Baker but more clandestine than him, Kenneth Hagee is one of the wealthiest TV evangelists alongside TD Jakes and others I won’t care to mention. The prosperity gospel seems to be very popular among these preachers and it was my 82 year old mother who is a devout Catholic and devoted follower of Jesus, loves Mary and the Church, who heard Hagee’s hate for Catholics and how he compared Catholicism to a cult religion. Where is this found anywhere in the Bible that he preaches so literally? Jesus states all through the Gospel about the greed and lust for riches and the demise of these people. Do you ever see a Catholic Priest or layman on televison begging for money? Maybe some of these are innocent, but I would have to look at their financial records!

Hitler was a “head of state” . The Vatican is a country-officially-in Italy and in the UN and is recognized by most countries as such. The Pope was a “head of state”. Head’s of State shake hands embrace and converse. This was an official action between two heads of state. Nothing else. I’ve seen our own president shake the hands of some real “scum-bags” just as the Pope did. Does that mean that President (name one) Agreed with these rats beliefs or politics? No. And to say otherwise is dishonest. And yes, it’s dishonest to label the pope embracing and shaking hands with Hitler as a fellow Jew hater.
Honest history says otherwise. Just because one wants to believe garbage put out by some ignorant, hateful, 2-bit tv preacher , - That doesn’t make it true. And no, I don’t chalk it up to ignorance or misunderstanding. I chalk it up to satanic influence over ilk of these kind. They are taking millions of people with them into perdition - as they take millions to their banks. Some must realize it. Some may not. :confused:
 
I watched a youtube video of him denying being anticatholic. he even says that he helped a convent of nuns.
and i heard him asking the people to have faith on him. i thought we are to have faith in Jesus only.

Although i am seriously not interested whether is an Anti catholic or what (not for everyone of us to judge) but what i know is devil is good at tainting relationship among all christ believers and for what i can see here…is YES Devil won the battle…coz he created resentment within ourselves…

The devil didn’t make Hagee tell lies about Catholics. Hagee made the decision to tell the lies himself. The devil can’t make anyone do anything. But he can encourage us to do bad. Hagee decides what he will preach. He has to answer for what he preaches.

I came across this article today, and I thought it might add to the conversation a bit. Based on Deal Hudson’s interview, it sounds like John Hagee may not be as anti-Catholic as accused. Please give it a read.

It’s not suprising Hagee is anti Catholic. Anyone who preaches that The Jews are the ones God really loves making the Church like his mistress has to be anti Catholic because any Catholic who knows their stuff would never except such dribble because they know that The Church is The Bride of Christ and God is not a bygamist.

Thanks Boxerdog. That is certainly at odds with what he told Deal Hudson in the article I linked above:
During our conversation Hagee never became defensive – he seemed genuinely perplexed by the label he had acquired and wanted to understand what he was missing. I told him that when I Googled “Great Whore” and Revelation, the first six hits were explicitly anti-Catholic Web sites. **He then explained why, in his interpretation of the Book of Revelation, the “Great Whore” cannot refer to the Catholic Church: In Hagee’s eschatology, the end times begin with the Rapture, when all those who are truly in Christ will be taken up to heaven. Hagee says, “Since both Catholics and Protestants are taken up to Heaven, how could the ‘Great Whore’ be the Catholic Church? The apostate church is left on earth during the seven years of tribulation – that is the ‘Great Whore.’”

Perhaps he has changed his mind and/or revised his understanding of Revelations. However, if true, I would think he would have said that rather than denying everything.
 
I have watched Hagee over the years do the classic like Dave Hunt type Catholic bashing. He will talk about the Eucharist is really from Sun God worship and the sacraments from bahl (or however you spell it) worship. Easter is another Pagan ritual that the “Roman” church adheres to, along with Marian worship which he describes as some pagan worship that is mentioned in the old testment.

Also his books are terrible, his knowledge of history is very limited and he has used terms that are just flat out wrong.

See if you can find todays show, there is a "Catholic Priest" type figure on his chart with the words countfeit Christianity.
 
I have emailed catholic online a link to this thread and asking them to forward it to Deal Hudson.

I told them, it would be prudent of Deal to view this thread before he interviews Hagee again.
 
Good read. But I knew most of that anyway. What was done on that Weekend, the Protestant churches I attended attempted to do at every worship service. I would estimate that half of them were implants. It’s not anything new. The Cursillio and Emmaus walk encounter weekends do the same thing but without the phoniness.
