And you shall know them by their fruit. But I really doubt any Catholic has called any Protestant Church the “The Anti-Christ” or “The Whore of Babylon” If there are any Catholics that have made such a claim (which I doubt there is) then those books should be recalled.

Anymore stupid remarks?
Do you not consider the catholics who say protestants are going to hell because they are part of a fals church just as bad as the people who blast the rcc? I have been told on here, when I defended Mel Gibson, that I was not allowed to judge whether a man had repented or not (whixh I did not do; I stood up for him), so I simply asked the same question. If that upsets you, sorry. “Anymore stupid remarks”? Was is really necessary to resort to childish comments? It’s comments like that that keep people from the rcc. How rude.

What individual Catholics might say is not necessarily representative of what the Catholic Church teaches. You’ll find some “Catholics” that say pro-choice is acceptable. The Church says otherwise. Likewise, the Catholic Church never condemns someone to hell.

Someone considering entering the Catholic Church should feel a push from God and understand what the Church teaches; not enter the Church based on what some Catholic person says or doesn’t say. If you think Catholics never make rude remarks or ever sin for that matter, you have a distorted view of Catholics. Catholics have free will just like everyone.

I agree with your comments on what some catholics say versus what the actual church says. But the same goes for protestants. Hagee does not represent what we all think. Unfortunately, he gets more attention than the rest of us.

I should not have made the comment about why someone would not want to join the church. I was a little stung by someone saying what I have to say is stupid. You are right that it starts with the movement of God. I know we all make rude remarks, but his remarks should be condemned just as quickly as the crazy ones given by protestants on this forum.

I think you and I are on the same page here. 😉

An unfortunately, a potential inhabitant of the Oval Office accepted his endorsement. Ergo, this potential inhabitant supports Hagee’s views regardless of the claim that he does not.

I’ve called Peter Da Rock, he will apologize tonight.

I agree 100%. We should all be aware, especially as Presidential candidates, whose endorsement we accept.

I think that Hagee should be called on the carpet and explain what he meant. If the answer’s to the liking of the Vatican, no harm, no foul; if the answer is not, then he should be declared a heretic, plain and simple.

If you want to beat the Protestants at their game, you have to think like them!

Watching Hagee and the media talk about him is just getting more and more amusing at the days go by.

What game is that? How do you have to think?

I am not speaking out of prejudice or bigotry as I wish no harm to Jews and believe in Israel’s right to exist in peace but what is with this over solicitous care and concern on the part of evangelists and fundamentalists for Jews and Israel? They should be concerned with considering other Christians such as Catholics as their bothers first. They are so quick to demean the Catholic church but never say that it was the preserver of Western civilization and has done more charity than any other organization. The crusades were launched because of Muslim atrocities that were done to Christians first and plus the Muslim takeover of Palestine and it wasn’t launched against Jews. What gets me is these anti-Catholic protestants’ ancestors were once Catholic for almost a thousand years in Europe. I do not believe Israel should be abandoned but I find it ironic that these evangelists are so concerned for them when they have renounced Christ for 2000 years but speak ill of other Christians. Figure that one out.

Because they have a flawed and distorted view of the end-times. Fantastic point!

Ah, I see. Well, it’s a packed crowd!
McCain snubs 2 evangelists’ support
Republican presidential candidate John McCain on Thursday rejected endorsements from two influential but controversial televangelists, saying there is no place for their incendiary criticisms of other faiths.

McCain rejected the months-old endorsement of Texas preacher John Hagee after an audio recording surfaced in which the preacher said God sent Adolf Hitler to help Jews reach the promised land. McCain called the comment “crazy and unacceptable.”

I’m sorry. I’m not sure I understand?
Hisalone is a fallen away Catholic that now believes in Bilble only and I beleive he also supports premillinialism as well. Rapture Trap stuff.

Catholics make the worst anti-Catholics. They even think they make sense. 😦
