I hope many here who espouse the glories of ultra conservativism take note this is exactly what the crazed priest was. 😉

Very interesting.

Here is the film’s website.
Testimony now premieres on the big screen and substantially diverges from the original memoirs. This is not a timeline of the pontificate but rather an intimate portrait of the Pope as a man. The movie’s storyline adds to original book, revealing for the very first time facts from John Paul’s pontificate which will undoubtedly astonish the most seasoned Vaticanologists.

Thanks for the link to the film’s wesite. I wish there was an English version of the trailer, but the photography was beautiful.

I cannot think of John Paul II without my eyes watering up and the emotion stirring. I’m not sure exactly why this is. I should be happy that he is at home resting in peace and no longer suffering in this world. He was the most beloved pope of my lifetime. His many encyclicals and teachings helped us to have a better understanding of our Catholic Faith. He continually reminded us of God’s love and mercy toward us. And he was present to us being the most traveled pope ever and reached out to the youth of the world. I miss him. But I am also grateful for our present Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI. It grieves me to read insults againt our Holy Father and our Holy Catholic Faith every time some news concerning the Catholic Church is reported.

I didn’t notice any insults in the article.

The ABCnews.com article has 56 comments. Sometime they show up when you click on comments, sometimes they don’t show up. I don’t know why. But it never fails, any topic concerning the Catholic Church (or sex abuse even if not in the Catholic Church) is a magnet for anti-catholics and people who perpetuate the topic of the clergy abuse scandal.

Ah, I see. Save yourself some heartache and don’t read the comments of yahoos who want to get their two bits in on these news sites.
