I dont know how to create a link,But there is a story on Aol today about the miracle intercession of JP2 to a Ohio man (shooting victim) and a 9 y/o Polish boy,who can now miraculously ambulate,after his parents prayed at the tomb of JP2 at St.Peter’s Basilica.Very fascinating stories.Check it out.
 
I certainly believe that he is a saint. I know this from my own life. John Paul has been very influential in turning my life around, more after his death and than in life. The more that I think of him and pray to him, the closer I feel to God and the happier I feel.

I just came out of the hospital after a major medical crisis that rushed me there in an ambulance. I did not ask John Paul to pray for a cure. But I remembered what John Paul had said, “Do not be afraid.” It was interesting. Once I went to confession, received the Eucharist and Annointing of the Sick, I was laughing even when I was sick and the doctors were trying to control my condition.

I was more concerned about everyone else around me than I was about me. My main concern was about the children who would go under the knife of abortion and those who were praying for my recovery. So, inspired by John Paul I offered up one hour of suffering for one less abortion and for the intentions of those who were praying for me. I would never have thought that way before John Paul’s death.

As to the reported miracles? Let’s wait and see what the studies say.

Is he a saint? Anyone who can soften my heart and take away my fear and self-centeredness in time of crisis has some good connections.
