Reen 12, are you a Jew, Christian or atheist? sorry but your threads and posts bewilder me 🤷
Now reen12 too is not a Jew simply because he/she says: Men and women are beginnning to realize that the Christian claims
are simply not to be accepted.? …LOL

that post wasn’t adressed to you:) but since you are interested in my question yet unable to understand its basic meaning , i’ll quote you a passage written by Reen:

No matter which faith one chooses to authorize -
as one’s particular spokesman [calling same ‘faith’] -
no matter what doctrines are given the nod to,
the harsh fact remains that the ‘defended’ deity is more interested
in his vast eternal plan, than in the suffering of innocents.

Especially an innocent who is subjected to horror all alone,
with no loving arms to hold her.

Why pray to a deity who shows no mercy, nor intervenes,
when a 3 year old child is all alone, and suffering horribly,
with no comfort or protection?

do these posts seem to come from a Jew, Christian , Agnostic, or Atheist? that;s why i asked.

hope i made things a bit easier for you to grasp…🙂

Saul of Tarsus provided the reason for a ‘need’ for a savior.
Original sin.

The dominant teaching of Judaism rejects such a notion.

jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/Original_Sin.html

Jesus was said to be ‘needed’ - for the forgiveness of personal sin.
Yet the God of Israel had granted this, long ago.

Come now, let us set things right, says the Lord:
Though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow [Isaiah 1]

God had already granted mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life.

Christianity is redundant.

Reen, do you believe that Jesus existed? that his followers witnessed his life, death and resurrection?

Well was Paul not a traitor and hypocrite then, as he worked against his own people by persecuting first and then later (by “becoming” a follower of Jesus), making “Christianity” a lawless faith-a soft meat for Romans.
Since he didn’t make Christianity so, no. And he learned from his mistake. That doesn’t make him a hypocrite, it makes him wise. There’s a lesson in there.
After the job is done, why Romans needed a traitor (to his own people) anymore?
St. Paul was born a Roman ctiizen, btw.

Why did the Jewish authorites complain about him to the Romans?

St. Paul appealed to Caesar, went to Rome, and WAS RELEASED. He had already written most of the Epistles.

[Not to mention when Paul looks at the light and gets blind, the people with him who also saw the light, did not get blind.]

But who were people of Antioch and why they named/labelled you people with such a polytheistic name?
Same reason you are called Muhammadan (a term the Muslims were proud of, up until recently).
Is it because the Gentile members of the community should enable it to stand out clearly from Judaism?
Something like that. Christ predicted that they would suffer for His name.
And what was their identity prior to this for “Christians”?
Disciples, then Apostles.

Instead of asking reen12 silly questions, ponder/reply to this:
A Jew will also ask: “And how do I know she [Mary] was a virgin?” We don’t, of course, so there’s really no evidence at all. In fact, no one could ever have known whether or not she was a virgin!
Because you (as a worshipper of three seperate beings of god and a young Jewess “virgin” girl) have serious issue here.

Let’s see how a young Jewess girl (of 12 to 16 years) proved that she was a virgin and how people around her accepted her as a virgin.

Christians hold that God took on flesh and that a God/man walked the earth, taught,
provided example, was utltimately crucified and rose from the dead -
offering both his body and blood, as food for the journey back to God -
in the wine and bread consumed - during a Passover meal of rememberance,
during which ritual meal Judaism recalls the saving acts of God.
It is said that the wine and bread are transubstantiated,
retaining the ‘accidents’ [external appearance] of bread and wine,
yet the essence is now said to be changed - into real flesh, real blood.

Theophagy is said to have re-entered the world.

Christians cannot even get together on several basic teachings.

BTW, in an interesting parallel, with the Christians Reformers,
Karaite Judaism rejects the Oral Law [Mishnah and Talmud] and Rabbinic Judaism.
Karaites rely on ‘scripture alone.’

Christianity itself is similarly fractured, along the same lines. The solas.

“Orthodox” - as in Orthodox Judaism - is held to be a redundant
descriptor.

jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/Orthodox.html

There is one Judaism, one Torah, which Joseph and Mary honored.
Joseph spent his entire life in Judaism. He and Jesus would don the
phylacteries, each morning, to say the morning prayers.
Mary prepared the Sabbath meal, each Friday, before Sabbath began.

But Paul acquired his Roman citizenship for a large sum of money, No?

Why a supposed Roman Citizen by birth had to pay a large sum of money for his citizenship? Was he actually naturalized, then?
Somethng is fishy here.

Christianity is a prosyletizing faith. It seeks converts.

Judaism is not a prosyletizing faith.

Those who believe that Jesus of Nazareth rose from the dead
quite understandly think that religious authority now exists in Christianity.

This is understandalbe error, but God uses these erroneous
teachings for the good.

Christianity has carried the news that God is One,
even as it teaches the error that God is triune.

Aaron, thank you for proving yet again what Muhammad’s misunderstanding did to your ability to reason beside Quranic mistakes…Muslims will always be a live witness to Muhammad’s ignorance …after all, muhammad, before you, thought we worship Mary as a deity, that is why he said she used to eat food 😃 keep up the good work;)

Ibn Kathir’s "

means, ‘We supported and strengthened them with a third Messenger.’ Ibn Jurayj narrated from Wahb bin Sulayman, from Shu’ayb Al-Jaba’i, "The names of the first two Messengers were Sham’un and Yuhanna, and the name of the third was Bulus, and the city was Antioch …

Muslims must hate Ibn Kathir and all the Muslims who considered Paul (Bulus) a messenger 😃 seems the conspiracy theory of 20th century Muslims was unheard of during the time of the earliest scholars and most respected scholars of Islam 😉

Should we call it Cannibalism or Vampirism?
If any one shall say that in the New Testament there is no visible and external priesthood nor any power of consecrating and offering the Body and Blood of the Lord, as well as of remitting and retaining sins, but merely the office and bare ministry of preaching the Gospel, let him be anathema.

Here is a confession of an ex-cannibal:
CHRISTIAN CANNIBALS
An argument of why Christians are cannibals (and possibly vampires) from Christianity’s own perspective
by Jim Walker (an ex-cannibal)
How many Christians realize that when they eat that wafer and drink the wine during communion service that they, in effect, practice cannibalism by the partaking in the eating of human flesh and blood?
I certainly did not know that when I underwent communion in my religious days. It sounds so innocent and benign; “Communion” imparts the concept of sharing thoughts and feelings, or so I thought. Oh how the priests fooled me. They used other obscure terms too, like “Eucharist” and “Sacrament of the Last Supper.” At no time did a priest or deacon explain to me that I would share in the communal eating of the human flesh and blood of Jesus.
Cannibal: A person who eats the flesh of human beings.
Since Jesus represents an actual human being, and I ate him, that made me a cannibal. And if you have ever undergone communion, then you too fall into that category.
The Church tricked me and turned me into a cannibal!

You want to ban me because you failed to answer or face my questions…right?
I am trying to get you banned because you are a man of pretense.

Anathema to all liars and dishonest people, especially those who follow the pagan jigolo of the desert 😃

Here is a confession of an ex-Muslim:

**I quit Islam because the idea that the almighty Allah provided prostitutes for Muslim men in His heaven bothered me a lot. I asked a Muslim why Allah would allow fornication and pornography in His holy Heaven. The answer was shocking enough: Mohammad had sex with his slaves in Kaaba to prove that Allah’s promise for sex in Heaven was true and trustworthy. OMG!
**
Fornication in Allah’s presence is a scandalous belief!!! Islam is Satanic indeed.
