Human reason created science and math, no doubt about it.

When investigating inanimate matter moving to animate, is it a fallacious step to assume that inanimate matter did it?

If it is possible that an agent or group of advanced beings moved the inanimate to animate should not human reason investigate it?

First off, **God **created science and math, humans just discovered it. I’m not sure what you mean by your question, “When investigating inanimate matter moving to animate, is it a fallacious step to assume that inanimate matter did it?”

Do you mean like particles turning into bacteria, or what?

Hello, Jim:

Actually, I’d say, “human reason (with God’s concurrence) found the ingredients of science and math.” “Science” is the study of natural regularities. “Regularities” are probably fairly easy to spot - for the most part. “Math” is abstraction from multitude.
When investigating inanimate matter moving to animate, is it a fallacious step to assume that inanimate matter did it?
With this, so far, I agree.
If it is possible that an agent or group of advanced beings moved the inanimate to animate should not human reason investigate it?
I think so. If… If those who investigate these phenomena do not install themselves as the creator.

From what I have read, we do not know how inanimate matter moved to animated matter.

If inanimate matter did not move to animated matter, then the search is not needed.

If inanimate matter did not move on its own or by chance or accident, but was moved my agents that introduced life into existence. In my thinking, this is possible. It seems to me much more likely than the transition happening “on its own.” No offense to us humans, but I do not believe we are the highest beings in the universe.

Non-living matter can only become living when a soul is implanted into it and only God can do this. Yes, I agree that human reason should be able to arrive at the boundaries of the physical realm and be content with the Truth that an infinite and perfect God creates all life… Unfortunately, Satan can cause even the smartest of scientists to become rather unintelligent when it comes to understanding spiritual truth.

Are you in philosophy, science, or math?

In other words, what is your background?

THANKS

I am in theology, philosophy and history.

Jim:

My background was in the physical sciences, math, philosophy, and English literature. Since returning home, I’ve been self-reading a great deal of theology and history.

I’ve taught Science, English, and typing, as well as business and accounting. Currently, I get paid for tax preparation.

I agree. In the teaching of the Church, God did this. Sure, aliens could have done it, but ultimately God created life.
