Just found out I have cancer

Loving God,

We lift up our prayers for the intentions and healing of Rossco today and ask for your mercy, courage, and strength for Rossco and the friends and family members. We ask for strong faith in your divine providence for Rossco as this great trial and challenge in life unfolds. Please keep hope alive and help all involved to see Your works in this world during this time, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Lord, we also pray for the success of the surgery that Rossco is to undergo soon. Please guide the doctors and medical staff as they work your healing upon your son Rossco.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Thank you for the prayers and encouraging words. Since I was diagnosed, my faith, and the subsequent fruits, have multiplied several times over. My life is in God’s hands, and I accept his will. Thanks again for your prayers and words. God Bless! Ross

I sincerely thank you all for your steadfast prayers. I received the results from the bone scan, and they were negative. After doctors studied results from several tests, they concluded that the tumor is confined to the kidney (no sign of metastasis.) The surgeon is confident that the tumor can be removed, without removing the entire kidney, and I probably won’t undergo any radiation or chemotherapy. Surgery is scheduled for the morning of November, 30th., and I will keep you all posted on my progress. I thank you all for your love and prayers, and will keep you in my prayers. God Bless you all.

Lord
Help me to remember that nothing is impossible to prayer. Because when I pray, I bring You close and when You are close, I am not alone or afraid. I call on You, and the world eases around me. There is comfort for my hurt…and peace from my worries. As one door closes, I see another open wide before me. So, let my whispered voice start each day with the promise of prayer, certain that with Your name on my lips…and Your love in my heart…all things are ever possible. Amen.

Dear friend , thanks for keeping us updated on how your feeling. Just know that we are here for you as well. I am going to mass today and will ask for your healing at the tabernacle.
