the joy of Israel,
the honor of our people,
and the great advocate of sinners.

We lift up our prayers for the intentions and healing of Rossco today and ask for your mercy, courage, and strength for Rossco and the friends and family members. We ask for strong faith in your divine providence for Rossco as this great trial and challenge in life unfolds. Lord, thank you for the good news about Rossco’s condition so far, and please keep hope alive and help all involved to see Your works in this world during this time, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please guide the doctors and medical staff as they work your healing upon your son Rossco.

O great St. Peregrine, thou hast been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker" because of the numerous miracles which thou hast obtained from God for those who have had recourse to thee, thou who for so many years didst bear in thine own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the Source of all grace when the power of man could do no more; thou who wast favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal thy affliction, ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to thee. Aided in this way by thy powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

God of healing mercy, in Jesus your Son you stretch out your hand in compassion, restoring the sinner, healing the sick, and lifting up those bowed down. Embrace us now in your loving care, particularly those afflicted with cancer (Rossco), for whom this intention is offered. 

May the Spirit of Jesus bring us all health in soul and body, that with joy and thanksgiving we may praise you for your goodness, through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER OF ST THERESA OF JESUS TO THE HOLY FACE
O Jesus, who in Thy bitter Passion didst become “the most abject of men, a man of sorrows”, I venerate Thy Sacred Face whereon there once did shine the beauty and sweetness of the Godhead; but now it has become for me as if it were the face of a leper!

Neverlethess, under those disfigured features, I recognize Thy infinite Love and I am consumed with the desire to love Thee and make Thee loved by all men. The tears which well up abundantly in Thy sacred eyes appear to me as so many precious pearls that I love to gather up, in order to purchase the souls of poor sinners by means of their infinite value.
