Wow.

This movie was awesome. If you haven’t seen it yet, go and see it as soon as you can. I picked up the soundtrack on the way home; it was great too. Especially the music for the last fight scenes (Anakin/Obi Wan; Yoda/Emperor). Great job by John Williams again. Special effects were amazing. It also has a lot of explanations for why things are the way they are in the original three.

Anyway, Episode III is HIGHLY recommended. I’m going to go see it again (my uncle told me I could see it twice for him because he’s not a Star Wars fan).

My husband and I went to see it on the 19th. It was good. I personally like the 1st one the best(because I like Jar Jar). The special effects were awesome in this one though. I think it was a little too sad for my taste and there were 2 scenes I really didn’t like at all, I won’t ruin it for anyone. Overall it was very good, and it did a great job setting it up for the later ones. This will definitely be added to our video collection when it comes out. 👍

Just saw it tonight.
Thumbs up!

Love scenes could have had better dialogue and better chemistry…but Star Wars is about action, creatures, and special effects…and those parts were fantastic.

I heard on the radio that this movie, so far, already has grossed 50 million dollars!

I really liked it. i tjoyght some of the “wrap up” (that is explain a original trilogy element) conversations were a bit forced, (esp the last yoda one…).

I also took my little (5 yr old) brother with me. BIG MISTAKE!! THIS IS ***NOT ***A CHILDREN’S MOVIE!!! he seemed fine in the theatre but aferwards in the car he was bawling and shaking. Without any spoiling, there are many beheadings, dismemberments, and 2 instances of on-screen depictions of melting flesh. Nessessary scenes to the plot but not somthing a 5-year-old should see.

Oh yeah, and POOR OBI-WAN!! I felt so bad for him, i almost cried! Star Wars is not known for its acting but Ewan McGreggor was heart-wrenching.

Yep. There’s a reason it got a PG-13 rating. I loved the movie, and will be seeing it again in the theatres, but I strongly encourage all parents to screen it themselves before letting their kids go.

I downloaded a DVD of the movie the day it came out. Interesting how they got all the parts of the storyline tied up so nicely. I think the only “flaw” I noticed was that in SW6, Luke asks Leia about her mother and I think it’s likely she was meant to be describing their mother, not Leia’s adoptive mother… but that wasn’t specified, so they can get away with that one 😉

Keep in mind what Leia actually says. She remembers her real mother by feelings. There is some powers of the force that Leia has, that Luke currently lacked.

My 6&1/2 year old son saw it today with his dad. I was at work and he called me when he got out of the movie. I asked him how the movie was and he screamed “IT WAS GREATTTTT!!!” so loud that I swear he woke the dead from their graves in 3 counties. He loved it. Though if he has any nightmares tonight, his dad is in big trouble!!😃

Pardon me for being harsh, but do you really want to be admitting to illegal and immoral activity? Especially when it doesn’t sound in the least like you have any remose over your actions?

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was the best of all 6.

Nothing illegal about downloading. Uploading can be illegal, depending on the circumstances, but downloading is not in the US. I also do not feel obligated to obey the unjust laws (copyright law, mainly) that make such uploading illegal.
There’s certainly nothing immoral about exercising my natural rights to redistribute information. The idea that someone can tell me what I can and cannot do with information is a product of a few key organisations brainwashing the masses.

C’mon. You are better than that. Stop taking stuff without paying for it. Work to change laws you feel unjust rather than just breaking them (in both letter or spirit).

I am better than the average person who is brainwashed by society.

I’m not taking anything. I’m simply sharing information with the world like anyone who cares about the truth (and receiving when others share with me).

Unjust laws have no authority, especially when they are harmful to society.
The U.S. has become too brainwashed/corrupt to have any hope beyond rebellion… and even that is somewhat hopeless with the small number of non-brainwashed people.

Luke, don’t give in to the Dark Side …
Don’t worry, I won’t. I’m fairly good at ignoring all that nonsense society tries to throw at me. 🙂

I’ve been wondering the same thing…but I agree; it wasn’t specified.

You freely admit that you downloaded a DVD of the new Star Wars movie. Did you or do you have any intention to give the creators, producers, etc. any money?

I’ll consider it when I have money to donate, since it was a good movie. Of course, if they clean up their act and stop relying on their government-granted monopoly, I’ll be even more eager to do so.
