As far as I am concerned, when anyone finds a website, pamphlet, etc regarding some issue with Mormon history, it certainly is not endorsed by the church officially.

According to my Mormon friends, anything outside of the church unless it is made by a church member is not likely to be friendly toward the church.
Well, that means either they are looking to their church heirarchy for absolutely everything, and have been told all other sources are untrue. (which is a from of brainwashing)

or

It is a behavior that many (not all) mormons exhibit by constantly playing the “persecution” card, or claiming that anyone who questions anything mormon is either an “anti-mormon”, or mormon apostate.

By the way, are you mormon?

Since when were the Old Testament prophets before Christ not Christian.
They were Jewish…
Preparing for the Son the God they would reject when he was here.
So, in answer to your question, no, the OT prophets, or other individuals mentioned were not Christians.

I am also pretty sure that most everyone who was mentioned in the OT was dead before Jesus was born.

I also don’t believe the Jewish people were “preparing” to reject Jesus. After all, they were looking for a Messiah, they just didn’t believe it was him when he arrived.

I work with a Mormon and we have religious discussions pretty often. I am a convert to the Catholic faith and he is a Catholic that converted to LDS. I came across this movie on YouTube and learned a lot that I had not known before. (It seems to have been put out by a protestant group.)

Lifting The Veil Of Polygamy

God bless.
Please watch also “the book of mormon vs. the Bible” and “the book of mormon vs. DNA” Keep in mind that the occult stop practicing polygammy when the government stepped in more inforcing the law. You should also read the book called the 26th wife which is of the journal of Brigham Youngs wife revealing the evils of the occults second president and prophet.

I thought of Moses, but, then I thought, ‘no, Moses was the Law, not a prophet.’

I wouldn’t consider them prophets.

OT people were not Christian because, strictly speaking, they didn’t follow the Christ, who hadn’t yet come before.

I never said they were supposed to be, only that I couldn’t remember any who were specifically married, let alone to multiple wives.
You are going to HAVE to give us your definition of ‘prophet’ if you don’t consider Moses, Abraham or David such. It is most certainly going to have to be a unique one.
