I guess I will need to pray to God to please lead Sklemetti out of the confusion of the Falsetower and back into His Church.
Please show me where each of these is used in a Catholic Bible. Or show me a few examples.Thank you for your question. I would recommend you will find your answer in the following brochure:
The Divine Name That Will Endure Forever
Apparently you object to using “Jehovah” as God’s personal name in English, because it’s not the exact way it was written or spoken in the original Hebrew.
Do you also object to the following list of names, all based on the same English version of Jehovah and found throughout Catholic Bibles? If so, have you expressed your concern to the Catholic translators that all these names are incorrect?
Jeho-addah [possibly, Jehovah Has Decked Himself]
Jeho-addan [Jehovah Is Pleasure]
Jeho-addin [Jehovah Is Pleasure]
Jeho-ahaz [May Jehovah Take Hold; Jehovah Has Taken Hold]
Jeho-ash
Jeho-hanan [Jehovah Has Shown Favor; Jehovah Has Been Gracious]
Jeho-iachin [probably, Jehovah Has Firmly Established]
Jeho-iada [May Jehovah Know]
Jeho-iakim [possibly, Jehovah Raises Up]
Jeho-nadab [Jehovah Is Willing]
Jeho-nathan [Jehovah Has Given]
Jeho-ram [Jehovah Is High (Exalted)]
Jeho-shabeath [Jehovah Is Plenty]
Jeho-shama [Jehovah Has Heard (Listened)”]
Jeho-shaphat [Jehovah Is Judge]
Jeho-shua [Jehovah Is Salvation]
Just google any of these names (without the - ) and you will find they are names of people in the Bible who’s names are translated into English using the same form of the divine name “Jehovah”.Please show me where each of these is used in a Catholic Bible. Or show me a few examples.
Then begin.I guess I will need to pray to God to please lead Sklemetti out of the confusion of the Falsetower and back into His Church.
Listening to JWs encourages all Christians to increase their prayers that the JWs be freed from their false religion and to return to the one Church Christ established. And forget the Watchtower. Just listen to JWs
I’m sorry, I don’t go by google links for my scholarship. If you would like to actually show me by giving me a link I would be more than happy to see it. And we are talking about God here not just ‘people in the Bible’. I want to see God referred to by these names.Just google any of these names (without the - ) and you will find they are names of people in the Bible who’s names are translated into English using the same form of the divine name “Jehovah”.
For example:
Jeho-addah (just google: Jehoaddah)
To find specific Catholic mention of each person, just google their name along with Catholic.
For example:
Google: Jehoaddah Catholic
Actually when it comes to learning about Jehovah’s Witnesses I would prefer going to the Watchtower. Every JW I have talked to likes stressing their few conversion points and if you ask them another question about something else they are either uncomfortable, give a different answer than another JW, or will change the subject. And forget the Watchtower. Just listen to JWs.
Huh?I’m sorry, I don’t go by google links for my scholarship. If you would like to actually show me by giving me a link I would be more than happy to see it. And we are talking about God here not just ‘people in the Bible’. I want to see God referred to by these names.
Chris,I’m sorry, I don’t go by google links for my scholarship. If you would like to actually show me by giving me a link I would be more than happy to see it. And we are talking about God here not just ‘people in the Bible’. I want to see God referred to by these names.
ok, who are you talking about here? I don’t know of any names that start with Jeho----. I can’t defend a practice I don’t know about. The Catholic Church has specifically chosen to translate the Hebrew names of multiple Bible characters into English by using the Jeho- prefix of their name because their name means “Jehovah is _______”.
Doing a google search will pull up multitudes of Catholic Bible’s and documents that will show you this point for yourself.
Dear Chris,ok, who are you talking about here? I don’t know of any names that start with Jeho----. I can’t defend a practice I don’t know about.
