Funny, no one wants to kill the members of the Governing Body eh?

Lots of people have wanted to Kill Popes., I wonder why?

Guess there is a reason for that huh? Like why bother?

Even though I dislike trolls, I did find it of interest that the Pope has a relative that is a JW (if that article was true).

BUT it makes me appreciate the man even more knowing that he can comprehend what those of us with loved ones trapped in a cult go through. 😦

Jehovah’s Witnesses distribute not just millions, but BILLIONS of Bible teaching aids, and they do it all FREE
jwtruth:

If you get the urge to have a peeky peeky at this threat in your posting LOA, I’ll make you an offer if you want to take it up.

PM me and I’ll pay for you to get sent a copy of Ray Franz book “Crisis of Conscience” so that you can get an idea of how the leadership of the Watchtower operates. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it - its not a Catholic book. Its written by a former member of the Governing Board of the Watchtower.

Somehow I think my offer will be turned down. 😦

Yes, Indeed. He has such vast knowledge of so many things, and my love for him only grows deeper as I realize how he knows things that we must deal with too.

I am one who can tell you that at least it was (if true?) only a cousin in his case.

It could be much worse, trust me.😦

Try being married to one (separated but in process of divorce) 😦

But I feel so blessed now to be able to be confirmed during his tenure of being Pope for stated reason.

I guess in a way I should thank jwtruth. God bless you and I guess I’ll have to include you on my prayer list. 👍

dawgfan,

I am glad you are at home now, but you will be on my prayer list too. I am so sorry to hear about your situation, and can imagine the consequences also.

Lord, give our bodies restful sleep and let the work we have done today bear fruit in eternal life. Watch over us as we rest in your peace.

We have peace in our faith, and not fear. We have trust in our Risen Lord who gave us many things, and he established a Church.

This gives us the “vehicle” if you will to partake in the sacraments that Jesus instructed us to do.

Woe to the one who denies Our Risen Lord, his teachings, and his Church.

jwtruth,

Just to say something, you guys don’t give out your literature for free. I know you don’t because in your teochratic school of ministry you ALWAYS show your people to ask for a “donation”. Believe me, I know because I go to the Kingdom Hall very often with my husband just so I know what kind of lies he’s being told.

Your people even think of me as a “sister” I don’t even know why because I have not given them any reason to think I am converting, nor that I buy the lies of the Watchtower.

I live with a JW, he’s my husband, and I know everything he’s told through the meetings. I know the whole story, the history, the “volunteer” work the bethelites do, what the governing body does, what kind of work is done to get the literature published, how it gets sent out to Kingdom Halls, how you mail it to people, etc. I KNOW IT ALL, so, if we Catholics take the time to learn about your religion, why don’t you JWs do the same?

Maybe you are afraid to actually learn the Truth. Is it that hard to face? It’s a beautiful thing.

Just answer this, and Damascus has already asked this several times in different posts, what kind of charities do you people conduct? Isn’t it true that you’ll preach to the homeless but not give them a blanket or a meal? I know you guys don’t because to you the “word” is more important than nourishment.

I have JW pioneers come to my house every week, and my sisters-in-law are also JWs, my mother-in-law as well, so I know how things are in your organization. I know you people DEMAND the money from you members. Unlike Catholics only give out a basket during Mass and you can put in money if you have money to donate so you can help with feeding the poor and renovating Churches.

Every month, if not more often, an elder steps up to the podium and tells the congregation the deficits and how they need to get more $ out of them in order to be in a positive amount. They always emphasize “the bills need to get paid, sooner or later we will run out of money. It is for God’s work” and so on. After this is said, most of the members run to the donation box designated to their congregation and leave some money or a check. I know so because I have seen it! My husband is one of those who falls for it once in a while. It’s not bad to give money to support the cause, but you don’t help out anyone but your own. In our Churches they rarely tell us they need money, and when they do actually ask for it, it’s for a good cause, and mostly because it’s of urgent matter. TO FEED THE POOR!

Anyway, sorry I made this so long, but I had to let you know that most of us inform ourselves about your organization and none of you do about ours.

Ask them if its against their religion to lie to a non-witness.
They call that ‘Theocratic warfare’. It’s permissable to lie, as long as it is for the sake of bringing someone into ‘the truth’.

Yeah. Muslims call it Taqueed or some such thing meaning the same thing.

They share a lot of beliefs with Islam when you think about it.
