There is no “doing it right” with polygraphs. They’re junk science, based on false premises, and coin tosses are just as effective at recognizing lies. You might as well read goat entrails.
Yes, they have their faults on the best of days. But the method of delivery on hers is far too irregular to be ignored.

I have the impression she was “used”.
She took a step and she was told there was enough water in the pool for her to plunge in…encouraged to plunge in,and there wasn t,but there was enough water to splash around… To begin with .
She doesn t benefit,not that I can see…
It looks like improvised.

Besides you do not take a polygraph to prove you are telling the truth, you take a polygraph so that someone else can try to sweat answers out of you. I have taken a polygraph before. The point is to get you to spill all your dirty secrets before you even get hooked up to the machine. It is an intimidation tool.

Never said that. My point was that Judge Kavanaugh’s response was justifed. For the record, Ford does deserve prison for falsely crying rape and slandering an upright man.

Unabashedly partisan, you mean, like this?

“I can’t imagine what this place would be – I can’t imagine what the country would be – with Donald Trump as our president,” Ginsburg told The New York Times in a July 2016 interview in her Supreme Court chambers. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be – I don’t even want to contemplate that.” Ginsburg doubled down on those comments in a subsequent interview with CNN, calling Trump a “faker,” and adding: "“He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego.”
I will stand by while I wait for everyone to denounce Justice Ginsburg as a partisan hack who shouldn’t sit on the Supreme Court.

Let us say he has done nothing and so far this is fair to say.
The hard part to understand,is that even if at the very end he has done something, really there wasn t any evidence at this beginning.
So one cannot but wonder how can anyone put the judge, his family, this woman under such unsubstancial ( cannot find another word) public process.
I cannot help but think that any good friend of mine, taking me into account, also considering the Judge’s children, would do everything necessary so that I do not harm myself or others along the way.
At least have something very solid to present
So was it improvisation or was it that no matter how it ends, and neither if this woman also suffers, but that this “public process” itself is enough to serve a purpose, a planned purpose,no matter how it ends.?
I do not honestly know. I just wonder.

If the lawyers knew her story was contrived and still helped Ford to fabricate it along with the scant supporting evidence – the polygraph, for example – that would be a good case for fraud.
If 2+2=5, I am the pope.
2+2 has no chance of ever being 5, and you have, likewise, no chance of ever being pope. There is a chance, and from where I sit, a pretty good one, that her lawyers did commit fraud.

So this supposed “argument” of yours, like Ford’s testimony, is not at all compelling.

Don’t go giving the Dems and Ford’s lawyers any ideas, they might be taken seriously, given their level of desperation to make things stick. 😱

I mean give up the rule of law, ordered ethical principles and innocent until proven guilty and what is there left besides reading goat entrails? 😏

There is some evidence coming forward that self-hypnosis to uncover forgotten memories was of significant psychological interest on the part of Ford from 2008 to 2012, about the time she revealed her alleged assault to her therapist.

Not sure if the FBI can subpoena her therapist’s notes or her own writings from the time, but it might prove interesting.
Ford has worked for the CIA since the early 1980’s … managing the CIA Undergraduate Internship Program at Stanford University. The program was developed by CIA-connected Stanford University Psychiatric Professor Dr. Frederick T. Melges who was an American psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry notable for his interest in time and for his pioneering work on the role of distortions of time in various psychiatric disorders.

Her testimony harmed her charge. And it shows much more than that–it shows she is familiar with hypnosis and the ability for hypnosis to be used to retrieve memories or to create new “memories”, create alternative memories and to conduct self-hypnosis.

One of Christine Ford Blasey’s research articles in 2008 included a study in which participants were TAUGHT SELF-HYPNOSIS and noted hypnosis is used to retrieve important memories “AND CREATE ARTIFICIAL SITUATIONS.”

Melges led research work at Stanford_University in the 1970s on cannabis users. Melges and colleagues were the first to report that cannabis induced “temporal disintegration” or a disorganization of sequential thought and impaired goal-directedness. This phenomenon stems partly from impaired memory . Melges and colleague) also showed that depersonalization is closely associated with the degree of temporal disintegration. This work led Melges to conclude that the disorientation in the sense of time might represent a key action of the drug from which many other effects followed.

Melges went on to propose a future oriented therapy. Melges argued that: "Many forms of mental illness are characterized by a bleak, foreshortened or fragmented future time perspective. He proposed that time distortions are prevalent in psychiatric illnesses and that they can cloud the personal future of an individual distorting their view of their future and thereby disrupting goal-directed behavior. Melges’s emphasis on the importance of the future in understanding mental illness provided a framework for focusing psychiatric treatment on time and the future. The most significant work to document his findings on the essential value of time and his ideas on future oriented therapy are found in his only book, Time and the Inner Future (1982).

Thus the correct response is to crush the cultural Marxists, see the American left driven before us, and hear the lamentations of the feminists.
I am not sure you understand male honor. It has always been taken seriously. Worse men than Kavanaugh have killed men far better than Ford for lesser insults to their reputation.
Some of us here subscribe to God’s vision for masculinity, as demonstrated by the one perfect man, Jesus, not this militant, stomping on those that oppose us, testosterone-driven, machoism that has caused so much war, death, and hatred throughout history.

Personally, I thought that is what was being implied by linking Bundy and Ford in the initial post.

I will stand by while I wait for everyone to denounce Justice Ginsburg as a partisan hack who shouldn’t sit on the Supreme Court.
RBG was strongly denounced for her comments, even as the code of conduct that prohibits certain judges from making partisan statements does not apply to SCOTUS judges, and is not an impeachable offense. I think, however, if she had a recird os partisan statements or activities it would have been a problem at confirmation.

I’ll be blunt. In a nation that, since it was first conceived, was founded first and foremost on the rule of law, this barbaric view of male honor has no place at all. I can’t conceive at all how it is compatible with Christianity. The founder had this to say on the topic:

“'You have heard how it was said: Eye for eye and tooth for tooth. But I say this to you: offer no resistance to the wicked. On the contrary, if anyone hits you on the right cheek, offer him the other as well; if someone wishes to go to law with you to get your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.”
Matthew 5:38-40

The founder had this to say on the topic:
Have you not noticed that some seem to think that the calling out of the Pharisees and going after the money changers are the epic moments of the good news? The logos of the cross …?

When talking about what Jesus would do, always remember that becoming righteously angry and driving out those who act dishonorably is a legitimate answer

And then there are those who think that we should emulate Christ in all areas but these two.

(Why do we no longer have a roll-eyes emoticon?!?!)

If someone truly believes that they are a surgeon … but lacks accomplishments and credentials, then they are not a surgeon.

Christine Ford has demonstrated that she is able to create a false narrative in her mind using self-hypnosis. She has written and studied this technique … a paper of which she is a co-author includes a reference to Michael Yapko, a fellow Californian, who I happen to know personally.

She is able to believe that she has experienced sexual aggression by Judge Kavanaugh … because she is able to convince herself that that is true … the problem occurring when actually having to prove it factually and to others and when confronted with calendar entries.

Usually, this is done to cure problematic psychosomatic issues.

Construction of a false personal history is useful in therapy and when training secret CIA agents.

However, what Christine Ford has done is to weaponize her mind to allow her to attack Judge Kavanaugh.

When pointedly questioned by experienced sex-crimes prosecutor Rachel Mitchell, Christine Ford’s narrative collapsed.
