Those Catholics who accept certain teachings of the Church but reject others, can rightly be described as “protest-ants”
Do the teachings that you have in mind that include torture and capital punishment?
Is this kind of talk compatible with forum rules?
You are misreading the anti-Catholic bigotry charge. It isn’t that the bigotry is against Catholics, per se. No, the bigotry is against what the Church has traditionally held and taught for 2000 years.
The charge was anti-Catholic.
If you want t say that certain people have certain views that are contrary to certain Catholic teaching, that is fair. But it is not appropriate to call that anti_Catholic bigotry. Unless you are willing to call all people who are not Catholics anti-Catholic bigots.

I think the investigation would involve identification of all possible witnesses and take it from there.
And that is why she needs to file charges in Bethesda, or wherever it happened. It is not the jurisdiction of the FBI because no federal crime is involved. The FBI investigated the Anita Hill accusations because it was supposed to have happened in federal jurisdiction.
Of course, how could they identity anyone when the year and place are in doubt.

Do you vote for abortion-approving Democrats?

Not the same thing at all. Nobody knows how Kavanaugh would rule on abortion, and yet, because he is Catholic, they assume it. Right or wrong, that’s a stereotype, and that’s bigotry.

Except that she didn’t. And you know this. Just admit it.
No. She didn’t specify Catholics, and you’re right about that. But she said some people would need to change their religion to accommodate abortion, and, gee, who would that be other than some protestants and faithful Catholics?

The lengths to which some will go to defend abortionists is just breathtaking, as is the opposition of some Catholics to appointment of a potential prolife justice.

She won’t do it because of the potential for being charged with filing a false report. Same reason she wants the Senate to ask the FBI to investigate instead of filing a complaint herself. She doesn’t want to fall into the Mueller “perjury trap” when it’s proved false.

She may. But that is up to her.
Then it remains rumor and accusation, and really not investigatable.
The curating of background information of SCOTUS nominees is.
Information that is already out there. It isn’t their job to investigate a claim of an assault that the local jurisdiction hasn’t pursued. This is a misuse of the FEDERAL Bureau of Investigation.

I don’t disagree with you. But can we add “one baptism” to that argument”?

The alleged actions of which I know (I say this not having watched much on this drama) appear to be less than those of the person that now sits in the seat of the president.

This was an interesting summary of political sexual acusations.

That is exactly right. She wants an “investigation “ without legal charges.
Same reason she wants the Senate to ask the FBI to investigate instead of filing a complaint herself.
But she doesn’t want to participate in that “investigation “.
She doesn’t want to fall into the Mueller “perjury trap” when it’s proved false.
Well, can’t blame her for that. Lots of folks are afraid of the special persecuter.

Except that she didn’t. And you know this. Just admit it.
It was Podesta.

Obama appointed a pro choice Catholic huge difference
So. The contention was that Democrats are anti-Catholic.
But real, believing Catholics?
Or True Scotsmen?
So being Catholic has nothing to do with one’s beliefs or one’s actions?

I mean I understand how being a Scotsman isn’t a function of beliefs or behaviour, but are you certain being a Catholic has nothing to do with those?

Not all people who are “not Catholic” are militantly opposed to and seek to undermine or eradicate Catholic values.

Rather an “uninteresting summary” since it provides absolutely NO distinguishable difference between those who are completely innocent (and stand by their innocence) and those who are completely guilty (and deny their guilt.)

Kind of a completely useless basis upon which to make any determination of actual guilt, correct?

Here is the counterpoint from some thoughtful women…
