You’re prejudging this as we simply do not know if maybe some others may be able to confirm or deny Ford’s accusations.
We know with certainty that the misdemeanor accusations would be well behind him, if they had been pursued at the time.

Now they are being used to discredit a man with a pattern of good performance and no pattern of abuse.

“We believe her” means that you believe that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her, because that’s what she’s alleging.
All people who say we believe her, are ready to revise their opinions should exculpatory facts emerge.
You believe her exactly because you prioritize a political agenda over a fair hearing.
There is not evidence to support that accusation. Just your mind-reading.
There can be no fair hearing for Kavanaugh her
Of course their can. If the allegations are investigated but the investigation is inconclusive, the Senators will have to make the best judgment they can and vote their conscience. How is that unfair? What would be fiar - dismissing or muzzling Ford?

She will testify, maybe on Thursday. My prediction is, nothing will be decided. In the end, there will remain uncertainty. Nothing will be proven or disproven. She will demand further witnesses, further investigation, as will the Democrats. She has only had 36 years to bring this allegation forward.

If by some chance Kavanaugh is determined to be innocent, some other allegation will be found, perhaps when he was age 14, and that will have to be investigated and witnesses located.

If he ends up being confirmed, the Democrats will seek to begin inmpeachment proceedings. In the meantime, Trump’s next nominee will undergo a similar proceeding. For nominees, it has become a Star Chamber inquisition.

I already posted where she said it. You saw it too.
Of course you mean where she did NOT say “Catholics need to ‘change their religion’ to accommodate abortion.” A fact fact you already admitted

You’re 100% correct. This ambush of Kavanaugh could have been predicted, and was predicted. Nobody who might be prolife will not be attacked by the Dems. Abortion is the center of the party and they won’t allow it to be threatened if they can help it.

She included all religions who needed to “change” in order to accommodate abortion. But you know that.

“All”? Why not just stick what she actually said instead of making stuff up?

“Yes, we’ve cut the maternal mortality rate in half, but far too many women are still denied critical access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed,”

I realize you’re going to “interpret” this to mean something other than its plain meaning. You have before. But she’s saying people who don’t support abortion for religious reasons will have to change their religion. Readers can judge for themselves.

In other words, you can’t prove “moderates” and women are souring on Kavanugh because of Ford. So whatever.

No religion forbids preventing maternal mortality or providing safe childbirth. She’s talking about abortion and you know it.

This was at an international conference. Think globally about access to health care and the cultural and religious attitudes about the place of women in society. That frame becomes even clearer if you look at a bit more of the speech.
