I am sure she was a good person and we can only hope that the church will discern the value of her testimony.
I always like to remain skeptical about private revelations and the photo of God does little to inspire belief. May God bless this devout nun and all who nursed her.
 
It doesn’t show the photograph of Jesus that she reportedly took, twice, with 2 different cameras. Now why wouldn’t that be included in the article?

Our Lady of Fatima has asked for prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners and peace in this world. The world is much worse now than it was in 1917 when she appeared. All of us would do well to offer up our joys, sorrows and sufferings for this intention, and this Kenyan nun would agree. May our hearts of stone be changed.

What is the Church’s stance on her pictures?

It all seems vague to me, and considering who her sponsor was… well…

And why is this the first time I’m hearing about this, I mean it is a supposed “picture of Jesus”.

I’m assuming this has been discredited, or is not believed to be authentic by the Church?

Do you mean the mentor? , the article says her mentor was bishop Korir. Bishop Kurir is one of the most respected bishops in the region with a great reputation for holiness and humility. When civil strife broke off in his diocese between his dominant tribe and others, members of the targeted group stayed with him, attacked by his own tribe. A good example when many church leaders were tribalism and partisan. His church was among the few places they could seek refuge and not fear betrayal. Thousands of them. In any case, the article seems to say the pictures were not successfully taken. Interesting story nonetheless. A daughter of a muslim became a miracle working catholic nun.

Does anyone know the ACTUAL story about the pictures and the nun in question.

Oh, ok. I understand now. I thought you were questioning bishop Cornelius Korir who is nearly regarded a sort of living saint in his home by the faithful. Milingobwas indeed a dodgy fellow. I think hevwas excommunicated. Maybe she was associated with him before, but she remained within the fold of the church and died mentored by a good and holy pastor. I think that makes me less skeptical I guess. But thankfully, church is the one who will decided at the end and everyone might be wrong, who knows.

have you searched for this image of our Lord that she supposedly took. search for it. I don’t understand if the picture is a. for real, or b. is this actually the image she took?

Can anyone provide some insight and clear this up?

Exactly. I see that image everywhere on the net and it isn’t related to the nun in question.

so I don’t even know if it is her “picture” that she took at all. I mean the supposed picture looks a lot like a painting anyway does it not?

Does anyone know the facts here?
 
Wow. That is amazing. I hope that she is indeed canonized someday soon.

That said, I wonder what kind of medical condition she had which made her cry tears of blood? It sounds really painful.

I agree, but I dont know if this is even the real photo that SHE took. I cant find anything on the web that connects her to this photo, at least nothing credible.
