No thank you.I prefer to stick with Holy Mother church and the catechism.All the saints say the same thing that obedience is the key not running after doctrines of demons. peace to you
Amen!

We have Doctors of the Church who have made the journey and obtained union with Christ. They are in obedience to the authentic Magisterium of the Church. I thank God for them! They teach us about the practice of virtue and deep prayer.

Yes,amen to that too. Though many of the saints experienced mystical union it was always focused on God and not some inner feminine goddess serpent. Shakti or Kali is a hindu goddess that is worshipped by many.

Many try to equate the mystical writings of St teresa and St John of the cross with kundalini.I asked a priest about this and he said the some of the writings are old and have been translated so many times the saints themselves probably would not recognize them.Their experiences have nothing to do with a serpent power.

St Teresa advised her nuns to focus on the passion of Jesus during their prayer and the great love he had,and once your mind is no longer on Jesus it is not prayer.

Kundalini manifests all three Persons of the Holy Trinity. In that kundalini is a truth, it is God, and Catholic. It is nothing more than the movement of the eternal soul within the temporal body, and the way each and every created person will eventually come to the Beatific Vision.

I truly believe this odd syncretism or attempted merging of our beloved faith with demonic practices is a sign of mystery babylon the ancient mystery religion which antichrist will revive.

I read somewhere recently,i think it was a private revelation that the antichrist religion will be a syncretism of Talmudic judaism and hinduism.I do see how this is possible considering the widespread acceptance of kabbalah.

Kundalini is the energy of lucifer.To believe it is our life force or the holy Spirit is to erroneously believe lucifer is our creator.

How do you know you have the Spirit of God?

You will display these fruits: charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, long-suffering, humility or gentleness, fidelity or faithfulness, modesty, self-control and chastity.

This is how you test the spirit!:angel1:

yes,and many false Spirits have gone out into the world. He who denies Jesus is the Christ is antichrist. Satan can masquerade as an angel of light but he cannot fool true believers.

lol,you equate a serpent on a pole with luciferianism?? The serpent was raised on this pole as a symbol,as the people were being bitten! not as a representation of kundalini.I am astounded at the number of people falling for these many lies.Look at the catechism. Yes lazarus did rise from the dead and so did the little girl,but those are not evidence of reincarnation!Come out of this delusion and trust in Jesus.He is the only one that can save you,kundalini seeks to deceive you into accepting antichrist.

Lazarus has nothing at all to do with coming back in a different body. He was still Lazarus, and he did eventually die and was judged like all of us will be…and at the general Resurrection he will receive a body to live forever in.

Lazarus being brought back from the dead was a sign and great miracle that Our Lord Jesus Christ performed.

Indeed. The reference to Lazarus was in response to the statement that all men will only die once, whereas St. Paul was writing in general terms and not literally. I have no idea why reincarnation was introduced into the thread about kundalini.

“Spiritual awakening” can mean different things to different sorts of contemplatives. For St. John of the Cross ‘spiritual experiences’ are usually either childish,(‘when I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as child, but when I became a man I put away childish things’), or delusional, or deceptions of the devil.

For St.John of the Cross, there is no union with God without denying oneself, taking up one’s cross daily and following Jesus Christ.

This is just a small slice of his advice for entering into this spiritual journey toward union with God:

**6. Strive always to prefer, not that which is easiest, but that which is most difficult;

Not that which is most delectable, but that which is most unpleasing;

Not that which gives most pleasure, but rather that which gives least;

Not that which is restful, but that which is wearisome;

Not that which is consolation, but rather that which is disconsolateness;

Not that which is greatest, but that which is least;

Not that which is loftiest and most precious, but that which is lowest and most despised;

Not that which is a desire for anything, but that which is a desire for nothing;

Strive to go about seeking not the best of temporal things, but the worst.

Strive thus to desire to enter into complete detachment and emptiness and poverty, with respect to everything that is in the world, for Christ’s sake**

(Ascent of Mount Carmel, Book I, Chap. 13.)

No one can actually do these things for the sake of Jesus Christ without the Spirit of God, but one must be willing to choose these detachments from egotistical and selfish desires in order to enter one’s journey onto the narrow road. If other forms of contemplation are achieving this entry onto the narrow road, then the assumption might be that they are of the Holy Spirit.

Perhaps it was introduced into the thread because the transmigration of souls ( reincarnation) are believed by hindus? When a people are not as yet privy to Divine Revelation they can come to some very esoteric beliefs, some of which are as good as they can be without the whole truth, and some that are harmful.

That’s fine, CJ.

I fully agree with you that mundane, simple, obedience is key. I’m just going to add that Phil St. Romain is a faithful Catholic, and he didn’t go running after any kundalini experiences—they occurred during ordinary Christian contemplative prayer.

You do not need contemplation to even enter the narrow road! You fix your gaze on JesusThat is the meaning of true contemplation… There are many who do by nature the law that is written on the heart,good works and kindness. No special prayer technique is required except to love God with your whole mind, heart, and soul.

I have read many quotes by St John of the cross,and the one that struck me most was to not go about seeking religious experiences because satan is a master of deceit and he can mimic very well. St Teresa also said somethng similar,that contemplation s a gift and if she ever wrote anything contrary to the Church it was a grave error and mistake.That is at the beginning of “The Interior castle”.

Then what he experienced was not a kundalini awakening of the goddess shakti, but the true gift of contemplation.

Agreed. One does not need contemplative prayer to enter the narrow road.

However, to love God with all of our heart, mind, strength and soul requires not only that we desire such, but that the love of God is actually abiding in us. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world, and the world is passing away with the lusts thereof, but he who does the will of God shall abide forever.” (1 John).

According to St. John of the Cross this is union with God, and it requires the purging of self through what he calls ‘passive contemplation’ which comes about through faith and the cross.

(1 John).

Very true.

Very true.

Bless you CJforJesus because you have found the answer in the Gospels. This Kundalini is nothing but a form of Satanic delusion and a form of witchcraft. St. John Chrysostom wrote the skulls of bishops line the walls of Hell in a homily once referring to abuses of the clergy in the 4th Century AD. So one so-called Catholic who preaches a gospel different than the Apostles. He is deluded. If he doesn’t reject this belief system entirely and repent his skull too will line the walls of Hell.
Code:
 The Holy Spirit may reside in us but the Holy Spirit is not self. So any self-awakening method is not the Holy Spirit. Further God is not some spirit that is part of the universe. God created the universe and He is Omnipresent. God exists outside of His creation.
The serpent energy is Satan. It is all about self-glorification. It is all about worship of a creature, Satan, and it is totally incompatible with Christ.
Code:
   There are those who want to deny that as a culture Westerners have embraced evil. Well it has. The Vatican has warned over and over again about the incompatibility of non-Christian Eastern religious beliefs; yet it has crept into the Church.

   This thread belongs in a non-Christian forum. The Bible is complete and a Foundation that the Church is built on. The subject matter of this thread has nothing to do with Holy Scripture, Holy Tradition and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This alone should be a Warning that Alerts Catholics that this is deceptive and false.

  In fact those who engage in this belief system are grieving the Holy Spirit and in time He will depart. This is perfect possession by a familiar spirit. A person in this condition can not free themselves. A Catholic woman named Julie Mae, username, in another thread wrote of offering co-redemptive suffering for the Salvation of those who Satan has captured.

  The perfectly possessed can receive the sacrament, they are not fearful of Holy Objects, and they can go to Church. The Holy Spirit has departed as they are given totally over to Satan in some deep rooted grievous mortal sin. These aversions commonly associated with demonic possession come from the Holy Spirit and manifest as Warnings something is terribly wrong.

    I am certain that my post will be met with contempt and hatred. My reply is "Pishaw." The spirit of the anti-Christ is softening up the world for the Tribulations. Christians will eventually be seen as the outcasts of society and will be hated. This is the smoke of Satan that through some fissure has entered the Santuary Pope Paul VI spoke of in his homily on June 29th, 1972 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catherdral. This homily is hosted in Italien and is paraphased so as people can understand what exactly he meant at the time. The spirit of these times is described in the Book of Revelation.

    "Behold, the ancient enemy and murderer strongly raises his head! Transformed into an angel of light, with the entire horde of wicked spirits he goes about everywhere and takes possession of the earth, so that therein he may blot out the Name of GOD and of His Christ and steal away, afflict and ruin into everlasting destruction the souls destined for a Crown of Eternal Glory. On men depraved in mind and corrupt in heart the wicked dragon pours out like a most foul river, the poison of his villainy, a spirit of lying, impiety and blasphemy; and the deadly breath of lust and of all iniquities and vices. Her most crafty enemies have engulfed the Church, the Spouse of the Immaculate Lamb, with sorrows, they have drenched her with wormwood; on all her desirable things they have laid their wicked hands" wrote Pope Leo XIII in the long version of St. Michael the Archangel.
How accurately he describes these times. HIs vision is Church approved because the Bishop of Rome can approve private revelation.

In spite of your low and uninformed opinion about what kundalini actually is, you will have to experience it in order to get to heaven, because when the soul is summoned back home that is the avenue it has to take.
