We are aware of the scribal errors occurring in SOME of the manuscripts and we never try to hide those errors from Muslims or other non-Christians. The errors and textual problems you point at do not change the core tenets of our faith or make us dubious about the authenticity of the Gospels.
**

I can feel your frustration about the unauthenticity of your various contradictory Bibles, as the issue I raised was not just about errors of some scribes but DELIBERATE ALTERATION, which MISLEAD so many people, as you can see even your Catholic Bible commentators admitted them…but you don’t, because you a layman, probably for the first time, came across with these facts/loopholes in your own backyard.

Now it seems appropriate to post here too the issue of ELOI and ELI as a new example of MIS-INSPIRATION / UNAUTHENTICITY right in your synoptic gospels (of Matthew and Mark). So:

as per Mark, Jesus, when on the cross cried out the words “My God, My God why have you forsaken me” in Aramaic:

Mark 15: 34 (New American Bible ) **
And at three o’clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” 14 which is translated, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

And the footnote:

14 [34] An Aramaic rendering of ⇒ Psalm 22:2. See also the note on ⇒ Matthew 27:46.

vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/__PWH.HTM#-3GY

But according to Matthew, the Word for “My God” seems cried out in Hebrew. Which one is a true statement?

Did Jesus call his God in Aramaic as “Eloi, ELoi” or in Hebrew “Eli, Eli” ?

If Matthew and Mark both were really inspired by the Holy Ghost, then howcome Holy Ghost did not even inspire correctly the last words of your God (Jesus), let alone other unimportant stuff such Jesus riding on a donkey…ecc.?

Matthew 27:46
And about three o’clock Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” 28 which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Footnote: 28 [46] Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?: Jesus cries out in the words of Psalm 22:2, a psalm of lament that is the Old Testament passage most frequently drawn upon in this narrative. In Mark the verse is cited entirely in Aramaic, which Matthew partially retains but changes the invocation of God to the Hebrew Eli, possibly because that is more easily related to the statement of the following verse about Jesus’ calling for Elijah.

vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/__PW0.HTM

If you still; insist that Mark and Matthew were indeed inspired by Holy Ghost, then:
  • The scribes of your Bibles altered the text, on a so many copies that made the translators of your Bibles to pass on that alteration even into Latin or English.
Or,
  • the authors of so-called Mark and Matthew’s gospels were **not really inspired by the Holy Ghost **as such they made so many errors/mistakes that cause clearly evident inconsistencies and contradictions.
And another funny thing in the same chapter Mark 15 is, the verse # 28 is not published in it, in the main text in the New American Bible. The number is there but the text is NOT THERE. Why? Incidentally, the footnote of an UNPUBLISHED/DISAPPEARED verse says that:

12 [28] This verse, "And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "And he was counted among the wicked,’ " is omitted in the earliest and best manuscripts. It contains a citation from ⇒ Isaiah 53:12 and was probably introduced from ⇒ Luke 22:37.

Wow!..an another DELIBERATE OMISSION.

Do you know what was that MISSING verse? Would you mind quoting it?

Nickkname, the history of islam, allah and mohammed shows us that they do NOT follow the same God. Those docs you wrote are NOT docs of infallibility. Whoever wrote those docs did not do indepth study of islam, know its history, or do basically anything else. Way too often the Church has tried to appease muslims or just take at face value what muslims told them about islam. Even though the muslim history, and texts, do not bear out that they worship anything close to the God of Israel.

The moon god, allah, is not Abrahaimic or anything else Jewish or Christian. If you read the koran and peruse the hadiths you will find out for yourself. The most that can be said about allah is that it is mohammed’s alter ego, the most you can say about it is that it is a moon god - of a pantheon of gods and goddesses mohammed just got rid of the others.

he almost put in allah’s 3 daughters, but was advised to take them out. There was a statue of allah on the kabaa (and that stone is also of mohammed’s pagan religion - that is why they worship it) and mohammed destroyed that so as to make his new thought up ‘religion’ more like the monotheistic religions of Judaism and Christianity, and also Zorastrianism (of which muslims successfully wiped out).

bible.ca/islam/islam-allahs-daughters.htm

Some books besides the koran (which is more of a book of battle tactics against us than anything else!)
-The Life and Religion of mohammed
-The Truth About mohammed
-Understanding muhammad, A Psychobiography

It would have been better if mohammed never messed with the pagan’s idea of allah because the people who followed that idea of allah were able to get along with each other, overall. At least it wasn’t a blood bath if you disagreed with mohammed’s remake of allah. Basically, what you see in islam you also see in other fascisms such as communism. It is a ‘either you are with us or you are against us’ mentality.

mohammed had to redefine sin - basically they do not follow the 10 commandments - they are not even in the koran. They have rules in halal and haram, and they cannot do shirk. Anything done to non-muslims is a-ok. That is what I have written time and again.

Our current Pope realizes there is a problem and I have just ordered a writeup on what he is planning to do, it is just that I have not received it yet.

What you want us to do is to blindly accept something without thought. Unlike islam, in Christianity we are able to think and question. And I will not follow something that is wrong.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church is the teachings of the Catholic Church. If you are a Catholic, you HAVE to accept the Church’s teachings. Otherwise, you’re not a Catholic. And if you don’t think that’s true, ask an Apologist.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is the teachings of the Catholic Church. If you are a Catholic, you HAVE to accept the Church’s teachings. It is not a matter of opinion or personal belief.

To quote the Catechism:

841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”

IF YOU HAVE EARS, LISTEN TO THE CHURCH!

I do not accept your false assertion. Stop your nonsense. Study islam and you will find out for yourself that it is a false assertion. That part was not made during a time of ‘infallibility’ either.

And this contradicts the koran - Jesus teaches this in (Matthew 7:15-20):
15 'Beware of false prophets who come to you disguised as sheep but underneath are ravenous wolves.
16 You will be able to tell them by their fruits. Can people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17 In the same way, a sound tree produces good fruit but a rotten tree bad fruit.
18 A sound tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor a rotten tree bear good fruit.
19 Any tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown on the fire.
20 I repeat, you will be able to tell them by their fruits.

That is what islam, and mohammed, are - false.

There is also no toleration in islam for anyone else. And so what you are doing is defending the intolerant and the indefensible.

allah is nothing but mohammed’s pagan god who used to be one of many gods and goddesses along with mohammed’s alter ego thrown in. What mohammed did was take a relatively benign religion and one of its gods and made it into a religion of ‘either you are with us or you are against us’ type of religion’. At one point mohammed even wanted to add the 3 daughters of allah - but one of his advisers advised him not to do that.

the kabaa and the black stone in a silver vagina, the hajj, are all a part of the rites of that religion too.

bible.ca/islam/islam-allahs-daughters.htm

You can keep posting but nowhere in the 10 commandments does it say I should worship a false god such as allah and in fact tells me not to do such a thing and that preceeds you, or anyone else, telling me to do such a thing.

I’m sorry but your opinion is nothing beside the teaching of the Church. A true Catholic heeds the Church. Deal. With. It.

I do deal with it because I get bashed by my own over this. Either I commit a sin and accept the moon god allah, or I continue down the path that I know is right and true. You stop trying to tell people to accept a false, pagan god - a god that - if you read more about islam - you would find that it wants you dead, converted or subjugated. And by forcing that down people’s throats you just help to condemn our children to islam. Read history, read the koran and go over the hadiths some more.

Hey guess what R_not: Catholics are going to listen to the Church before they listen to you. In fact, Catholics will listen to the Church instead of you. Deal. With. It.

Stop and worry about your own self. I WILL NOT honor their pagan moon god that is a very disturbed god! I will NOT follow - blindly - a bad thing. If that means I am not a Catholic then so be it. Leave me alone.

If you cannot figure it out then I feel sorry for you.

Nickkname - not all Catholics want to honor a god that wants them dead, converted or subjugated. If they follow me - or not - so be it. I will not lie for you, or anyone else. You can lead people astray because you are ignorant of mohammed’s alter ego - a very, disturbed allah - then so be it.

moon god worship isn’t a part of Catholicism.

**See what Paul is talking?

As per New American Bible of Catholics:

1 Corinthians 4:**

14 I am writing you this not to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children. 5

15 Even if you should have countless guides to Christ, yet you do not have many fathers, for I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

16 Therefore, I urge you, be imitators of me.

17 For this reason I am sending you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord; he will remind you of my ways in Christ (Jesus), just as I teach them everywhere in every church.

18 6 Some have become inflated with pride, as if I were not coming to you.

19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord is willing, and I shall ascertain not the talk of these inflated people but their power.

20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

21 Which do you prefer?** Shall I come to you with a rod**, or with love and a gentle spirit?

http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0839/__PZ9.HTM#$4AJ

But in Dauay Rheims Latin Bible, same verses are:

14 I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.
15 For if you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, by the gospel, I have begotten you.

16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.
17 For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my dearest son and faithful in the Lord; who will put you in mind of my ways, which are in Christ Jesus; as I teach every where in every church.
18 As if I would not come to you, so some are puffed up.
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will: and will know, not the speech of them that are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in speech, but in power.

21 What will you? shall I come to you with a rod; or in charity, and in the spirit of meekness?

drbo.org/chapter/53004.htm

The words "I have begotten you. are OMITTED in the New American Bible and replaced with words “my beloved children”

Is Paul actaully threatening followers of The Way to follow his gospel and his fathership and his beloved son Timothy ( is the the same Timothy who got circumcised by Paul) otherwise he will come with a rod…!!!

Which Gospel he is talking about? His own gospel or so-called Gospels attributed to certain unknown saints named as Matthew, Mark Luke and John…no wait but these were not written in the period of Paul and they were “canonised” in the 4th century. May be gospel of Judas- the traitor, Thomas or…where is that Gospel?

Is this the same rod/goad he used to persecute the followers of Jesus when he was Saul not Paul and working for Roman authorities?

What were the Hebrew words whose meanings are “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for thee to kick against the goad (pricks)”?

Neither are your opinions on God. You deliberately disobey the Church and give false witness to the Church. Yet you call yourself Catholic. You are not Catholic, and I for one am not decieved.

And you are too cowardly even to print your religion in your profile. What you are is a muslim just bashing me in order to muddy the waters of what islam, your allah and mohammed really are. It is a common tactic to do - to say that Christians are not good Christians.

Try again - I am not buying your junk anymore.

Just because you have nothing else other than what you have been posting - just bashing me - it shows that allah is not even a god that you are willing to defend, or even admit to being a muslim. Talk about cowardice. But, that is what islam teaches, right? To deceive, to do anything to prove your point, to win no matter what.

This is the ‘god’ and ‘prophet’ you follow:

“Killing disbelievers is a small matter to us (Muslims).” Tabari IX:69 -
July 27th, 2008
Quran 8:39 – “…And fight them (non-Muslims) until persecution (disbelieve in Islam) is no more, and religion is all for Allah…” {No others left-This sura alone, says it all}

Try again - I am not buying your junk anymore.
The thing that your are calling ‘junk’ is found in your:

Catechism of the Catholic Church
PART ONE: THE PROFESSION OF FAITH
SECTION TWO I. THE CREEDS
CHAPTER THREE Article 9 …Paragraph 3. .

And it does say:
841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.
Is this junk? Or you actually are not a Catholic? If you are indeed Catholic then for calling such a statement from the catechism of your holy Church, as junk, you must be excommunicated like how Martin Luther was thrown out.

BTW, for your information, if ELOI of Aramaic means ‘My God’…look how similar is this word with an Arabic Word “ELAHI” which also means ‘My God’.

I will repeat that I will not call allah god - … And after reading your own texts - it is a very, disturbed god.
**Well “unfortunately” the word ‘God’ used by your Paul, is translated as ALLAH in Arabic Bibles because this is what it means. ALLAH means ‘The God’ (with Capital ‘G’)

And your god of the Bibles, is a JEALOUS GOD:

Exodus 20: 5 - Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them: I am the Lord thy God, mighty, jealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:

Exodus 34:14 - Adore not any strange god. The Lord his name is Jealous, he is a jealous God.

3 Deuteronomy 4:24 - Because the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. - ( Douay Rheim Bible )

Wow!..an another DELIBERATE OMISSION.

Do you know what was that MISSING verse? Would you mind quoting it?

It IS the absurdity of absurdities to assert that the examples you give might mislead believers. We still believe in the Lord no matter what language He spoke or in what specific language He uttered a certain sentence.

I see that you are unable to rebut my claims concerning the authenticity of the Koran. Take it easy, you will overcome that shock.

I am still waiting for a Muslim scholar to explain to me the reason for the differences in the wizards’ alleged utterance in the Koran. Whom should we blame for this variation? Almighty Allah? Mohammad? Some of the scribes? A druınk Muslim reciting that verse? A Muslim suffering from short memory??

What was the EXACT exclamation the wizards uttered when they fell prostrate? Did they say “We believe in the Lord of Aaron or Moses” or “We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, the Lord of Moses and Aaron”???
