I would say that when the are unanimous on an issue, Catholic should be slow to reject them. In not case should any Catholic be criticized for following their teaching. I also believe your economic position is faulty, as labor need is not a set amount. Production is not set. A country can have economic growth, which needs more labor. I know many in the United States have grown used to decline, but it need not be so.
