your situation sounds eerily similar to mine, though different. I have been married for 4 1/2 years to my highschool sweetheart. we had fertility problems which he refused to address, and it just pushed use further and further apart. He doesn’t communicate and is very much a “mama’s boy”, he can go to her for anything but hides things from me. He used to work all of the time because he couldnt deal with my anxiety, but once i found out i waspregnant, he stopped working all together. my house is unfinished and unsafe ( no railings on an old 100 year old spiral staircase, no progress on the babys room, a leaky roof…the list goes on)

we tried counseling… all he did was blame and belittle me. eventually he just up and left me 6 months pregnant and turned my utilities off. at first i was heartbroken, but each day i realize more and more that he was the source of my anxieties and depression. i have never felt stronger since hes b seen gone, and though it was difficult to do, filing for divorce was the best decision for my soon to be born baby and me.

i deserve to be happy…so do you. my marriage never really meant anything to my husband, and after months and months of talking to my priest, he agreed that divorce and anullment were appropriate…

have you considered talking to a priest? i thought divorce was a sin in the Catholic church, but whenever abuse is involved, whether it be physical, emotional, what have you, it can be warranted.

hang in there… this is tough, but you have to do whats best for you, if you need someone to talk to or vent to,feel free to message me
