I have a cousin who is same sex attracted and is getting “married” later this month to his partner. The rest of my family will be attending the ceremony and I will not. I had called him to rsvp and give him my regrets. The conversation was brief, awkward, but respectful. He knew I was a faithful Catholic and before I called him, I had already known through my sisters that he already suspected that I wouldn’t go.
I’m doing some last minute Christmas Cards, and of course I still want to send him one. My question pertains on how do I go about sending a Christmas Card to his partner? I don’t want to be rude or ignore him and not send him one, but questioning how. Do I:

- Send one card and address it to both of them, since they live at the same address? (I am Concerned that this would somehow appear that I am validating their relationship / “marriage”)
- Send two cards to the same address but 1 addressed to my cousin, and a separate 1 addressed to the partner? (Would this be considered offensive to them?)
