It’s hard to see how faithful Catholics could possibly accept this, even as entertainment.

The video that you posted is nothing but a mockery. It is not the “Novus Ordo” Mass. A satanic group gathered this week to have a “exorcism” ritual in the Oklahoma City Center. It was a mockery of the Catholic Faith.Sad but true.

Your connection doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. Because a satanic group is making a mockery of the exorcism ritual in OK doesn’t necessarily mean the first video is legitimate or not.The video that you posted is nothing but a mockery. I’ll agree that a “poorly celebrated” EF, may be cold and empty, but that doesn’t quite come up (or go down, depending on how one wants to look at it) to the level of a poorly celebrated OF. Yes, the latter is also cold and empty, but with the built-in “options” (among other things), it can be far more (or less, again depending on how one looks at it) than simply that.Such as what? Such as a poorly-celebrated Tridentine Mass. End of thought.

Thank you.And now it starts…Can’t we agree that a poor celebrated Mass (regardless of its type) is wrong? From the OP…**the priest had really no business to be bashing Latin. ** I’m certainly thankful that I have not run into that at any of the parishes I’ve been to.
I am asuming that you are referring to the movie that took place in California not Minnesota. I have never heard of an authentic Halloween Mass. The church doesn’t celebrate Halloween. Just because the priest in that video abused the Mass is no reason to bash the Novus Ordo Mass.Your connection doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. The problem with the first video is we don’t know anything about it. Who, what, where, etc. If it is a dubious group making a mockery of the Mass, how’d they get use of the church? We’re not even sure that’s a Catholic Church, although it does look like a beautiful high altar.
On the Youtube side panel in the second video is an authentic Halloween Mass from a parish in Minnesota. It speaks for itself.
