I can’t believe I missed the sarcasm. What can I say? I’m a little under the weather.😉
S’okay. I probably ought to have included a sarcastic eye-roll  or two, and I definitely ought to have noted that the primary reason for my “prediction” was to get first-post-rights on Nov-2007. (Or was it in hopes of inciting Oliver’s Woofing Theorem? “The world may never know” 😉 )

Here is a new prediction -

April 30 is the feast of Pope St. Pius V.

St. Pius V codefied the Roman Rite of Mass we have today in the Roman Missal typical 1962 edition.

Pius V gave the original “Universal Indult” to all priests of the Latin Rite to celebrate Mass according to the Traditional Roman Rite.

St. Pius V is a hero to all of us, for his promulgation of Quo Primum Tempore and his Missal set an insurmountable barrier against any heretical action from entering the Holy Liturgy of the Catholic Church.

St. Pius V - grant us the restoration of thy missal to the altars of the Church.

April 30 is the feast of St. Catherine of Siena on the Traditional calendar that the Tridentine Mass follows.

This would mean that May 5 would be the day since it is the feast of St. Pius V on the Traditional calendar.

Pick any day. It really doesn’t matter. We keep going round and round…

Favre wears green and GOLD and THROWS a football.

My blood pressure just went up! 😃
Isn’t yellow the same as gold? And you mean they only throw the football? In Canada, I’m pretty sure they kick them once in a while. 😉

…That the Holy Father will promulgate a universal indult for the Latin Mass in November 2007.
I just want to point out: I have a 100% accuracy rate of not being wrong yet with this prediction.

bow down  and fear my precognitive powers

Not to worry. They kick them around in the states too. Especially when they want them to retire. 😃

But Green Bay does have a nice Latin Mass community so it’s not all bad. 🙂

The news leaks seem to be coming fast and furious (in a Dewey-Defeats-Truman sort of way), but I’m still not wrong.

RE:I predict…
The ONLY possibility of a universal indult would be IF the SSPX officially accepted VATII teachings, or something very close to it.
In that case it would be “IF you accept VATII, we’ll issue a U-Indult.” kind of thing.
The U-indult persuasion is a biggy primarily for the SSPX.
However, the whole reason for SSPX is just as much rejection of VATII as it is the Traditional Mass.

I do not see the SSPX accepting VATII for another generation if then, so the U-indult is no more likely.
Think about it; what would the pope gain for such a horrific tumult in the church?
So, no U-indult even on the horizon to be realistic.

That’s not to say that he will not reign in the “flex masses” of the NO and promote more Latin useage in that mass as well as Gregorian Latin music. That is, dress up the NO to appear more connected to Traditional masses.
But U-indult…forget it. Such a thing depends too much on the SSPX capitulation.

Vatican 11 has certaintly destroyed all of the churchs traditions.
