I’ve been attending the Extraordinary Form of the Mass for years and as much as I love our ancient liturgy, some of the people around there really leave something to be desired (especially some of those actually raised in that environment); enough so to make me question the whole thing. I’m honestly not sure where to go or what to do anymore.
My guess would be that the attitude of the EF regulars can leave a lot to be desired.
It is the same reason I no longer attend the EF in my diocese. It became more and more about what is wrong with the OF than why they loved the EF.
I recently attended a OF half in Latin and half vernacular with the introit chanted and all the smells and bells. The attitude was pure and welcoming and it was lovely.
