I would probably render it literally something like this:
Da mihi plus quam vitam quam video.
Unfortunately that’s a bit ungainly, isn’t it? I think that the literal construction “the life [that] I see” can be simplified a bit to, more or less, “the seen life”:
Da mihi plus quam vitam visam.
Good, that’s a bit more poetic. And if we like, we can go further – maybe we can ditch mihi (to me), since the indirect object is fairly obvious in a request of this sort; and we can do something else with the cavemanesque monosyllable da (give) … how about “grant”?
Praesta plus quam vitam visam.
That’s pretty good, I think, and we’re back down to the pithy eight syllables the English had.
